Now we are talking correct!
I received an email from Baht Smart that said it is one to two days to get the dosh from Australia. Let us just say it is two days and be done with it.
That way we won't be sweating on when the dosh arrives. The problem I see is getting the dosh from your own bank to the ANZ bank account of Baht Smart.
Thats resolved the timing.
Now the rate needs to be sorted. It seems some problem is present there. Is it the one you book at the time you order the transfer (pending the dosh arriving) or is the one when they receive the dosh and commit to the transfer. This needs to be clarified.
The no fees are great but my last transfer from CBA sending Baht to BBk was sta red after 4.30pm and arrived 47 minutes later at the gazetted BBk advertised rate.
But of course I had paid fees.
What we have to weight up is a good rate from Baht Smart (converted in Australia) against a better known rate in Thailand conversion BUT with fees
It depends on how much you send.
I know that I depend on the timing and the timing sometimes out weights the fees and the lower rate. Lower rate effected because of conversion in Ausralia and not Thailand.
Timing, fees, amount sent, all work out how you want to use any service.
Regards

It is not far from my house along Thanon Mukamontri
Im in Soi 13. (Soi Falang)

I got my one year extension to stay at Sakhon Nakhon Immigration on Friday. I noticed on the wall there was a big sign saying 90 day reporting was free and please report anyone charging you. Not exactly the same, but non the less seems they are trying to cut down on corruption.
Good news George.

Are you sure about Panasonic security cameras?
I have no difficulty browsing the Panasonic website with Chrome Version 43.0.2357.132 m. Randomly, I clicked on the Ultra HD 360 Degree Outdoor Network Camera and the information for it indicates no limitation to a particular browser. I have a feeling that Panasonic would lose quite a lot of business if its website could be browsed only with IE.
A web search with "Panasonic surveillance cameras and Chrome" brought up a question by a user of a Panasonic camera operated with Chrome and he was advised to update to the latest Java version, as at that time older Java versions apparently had some security risks to which Google did not want the Chrome users to be exposed. Microsoft, it seems, had no such scruples.
No problem getting the Panasonic web site on firefox.

I thought is was just a problem in Korat.
I have just come back from MAKRO and yes they had everything, in fact I just said to Mrs Jessi that we wont bother with TESCO any more.
I find Big C is OK, yes I like their bread dept. The staff and Big C are very helpful much more than the staff at TESCO.
I'm glad I'm not the only one finding this with TESCO.
-
This morning I went into TESCO to buy potatoes no have, Kanar No have, Onions No have. In fact here in Korat TESCO have not had any potatoes for more than a week.
MAKRO have plenty, what the hell is going on with TESCO?
Look like another trip to MAKRO.

I'm positive that what he said was misunderstood by people with poor Thai translation skills.

What a disgusting thing to say "Just like animals"
In fact most Thai think of any human that is not Thai is just scum and have done for many years,
Yes I know there are a few good ones.
Wait till the U.S., U.N. and Human rights get hold of this they will have a field day.
Disgusting Behavior.
disgusting generalization
Obvious you don't understand Thai too much.

Immigration corruption simple as that
There is a lot of corruption in the Immigration department.
Most of the money the OP paid will go to the Immigration officers.

The video could just as easy have been filmed on the warrego into Brisbane a 0800hours, we seelots worse on quee
nslands roads, any large town in any country for that matter rush hour is rush hour, and it brings out the worst in people, take a spin round the M25 at knocking off time, driving in Thailand is a walk in the park compared to the M25,here in sunny spain the driving instructors are trained in the Juan Fangio school of knitting
an expat from our estate got fined for photographing a traffic cop issuing a ticket to a young mother for breast feeding her baby while driving
,In my opinion thai drivers are no better or worse than anywhere else, wont even mention zee schgermans

The Thai driver of the yellow car said to the other driver. "DO YOU WANT TO BE DEAD"?

What to expect from an uncivilised country. This is a common occurence in thailand roads everday....stupid ignaorant people who just becuase of easy credit, are allowed to own and drive cars and motorcycles and have no clue how to drive them in a civilised manner.
Yes I agree. This is all starting to catch up with them via social media.
I think the banks & Finance company's are busy doing repo's.
They finally fixed it
