  1. HI, For number (8) I put my passport back in again, number (9) I put a few blank pages of my new passport as I haven't travelled for over a year, number (10) I put my drivers licence as this has my address on it, I don't know if theses are right as I haven't been granted a visa yet, but I will post back the outcome, all I know for certain, is that Shdmn is correct in saying ( They didn't separate out the questions for each visa type so a lot of them are not going to be relevant. I would just put whatever you want in there ) this has not changed since I last applied for an E-visa when it first came out......... so its pot luck & good luck to you all........ Cheers Baz
  2. Thanks but unfortunately I'm not on Facebook.....

  4. Yeh same here, i got the AXA insurance, it was a bit more than a quote I got here in the U.K & I don't think the cover is as good, but like you, I don't want any hold ups with the thailand pass, I would suggest to anyone booking an ASQ hotel to enquire as many in your price range & except the first one that replies as they are pretty slow in getting back to you especially if your in a rush..... Baz
  5. Cheers Joe, I've never been refused before, but I've got a lot to lose this time with all the extra requirements etc.....
  6. As the title states, if your E-Visa is declined, will they give you the reason? So that when you re-apply you will be able give them the necessary information for a successful application..... Cheers Baz
  7. Well anyway, I really appreciate the information that you have given me & I've just submitted it, ill let you know how it went....... Cheers Baz
  8. Yes your right, there are no guidelines as to what to do & you cant input anything to explain anything & trying to contact them is a waste of time..... Cheers Baz
  9. Cheers, ill remove the birth certificate & replace it with my passport .....
  10. Have a new passport & I'm not sure what to do with submitting document No 9? Scan a few blank pages? (9 . Applicant is required to upload his/her passport pages which contain all travel records for the past 12 months (1 year) since the last international trip. ) Cheers Baz
  11. You wouldn't happen to know why they are asking for this too? Obviously I have to put something in as I cant proceed any further....... Identity of the person inviting you to stay e.g. Thai ID card, Passport
  12. HI, thanks for the quick response, I was thinking of maybe my birth certificate?
  13. Anyone know what this is? (Confirmation of legal residence in a country in which you are applying for the visa. (In case that you are not a national of the country in which you are applying for the visa.) Cheers Baz
  14. O.k thanks, I got payment through with a bank transfer....
  15. Thanks Joe, just one more thing, the ASQ Hotel that I have had a reply back from wants a picture of the front & back of my credit card to make payment, I'm too happy with doing this, is this normal? Cheers Baz
  16. I will be applying for a SETV shortly & I know I will be asked for proof of booked accommodation, do I have to put in my ASQ hotel or where I will be staying after that? or both? Cheers Baz.....
  17. Does anyone know what problems I might have when applying for the Thailand Pass regarding Covid Insurance? I've found a decent insurance cover in the UK that covers my needs for 3 months including Covid, the policy states (Emergency medical and Repatriation Cover for emergency medical expenses and repatriation (returning to the UK) are included if you catch COVID-19 while you're away. This will be included as part of your medical cover limits) which is £20m I've read that most are rejected because of the insurance, does it specifically have to worded Covid Insurance up to $50k on the policy or will they understand this & except it? Sounds like a silly question but you never know & i want to be prepared...... Thanks in Advance... Baz Contact Us Copyright 2002 - 2021 ASEANNOW.com | Tessanet Limited

  19. Yes your probably right there & ill hold my hands up to asking similar questions every year lol
  20. Yes, this is what I have been doing for many years, I'm not too bothered about land borders opening up, used to ride down to Satun border (Border hop) but on one occasion the Thai immigration officer gave me the third degree for not getting a another Visa so I stopped, so there's the option of flying into Malaysia, but I'm not sure how easy this will be, I'm looking at coming to Thailand at the end of next month so would be able to stay till the end of March, possibly things may of changed for better or worse who knows........ I have looked into the STV but like you said, its better suited for longer stays....... Cheers Baz
  21. Hi All, I haven't attempted it yet as I'm waiting till the 1st November, but does anyone know whether the E-visa application process has been amended as the last time I applied for a SETV as it was a nightmare, does anyone know whether you still have to show a certain amount of funds in your bank account for so many months when applying, if I recall I was told that it wasn't needed for SETV & only for METV ( I may be wrong) but I had to as I couldn't proceed any further, I'm also assuming I only need to show a Flight booking into Thailand & not a return & where you will be staying? Also is there still a METV? as I normally fly to Malaysia to get another SETV & not sure if this will be possible with all the travel restrictions...... Thanks in advance.... Baz
  22. I renewed my passport about month ago & it took just over a month, was expecting it to take much longer, just make sure you give all the correct information & send it next day delivery......
