Phetchabun Immigration Office now require a one year statement for the 800K in a Thai bank.
My Brit neighbour did his last Friday and got the statement and bank letter on the day of his extension from the main Bangkok Bank branch in Phetchabun City. Do not use the BKB in Big C Mall.
The statement was for his fixed deposit (orange book) savings account. Apart from interest being paid in, there was no account activity, he is fortunate in just leaving the 800K in the account.
As an aside the same Imm Office refuses to issue a marriage extension based on monthly income from a decent pension for myself.
I have to use the services of............

I always thought it was called "Little Switzerland' due to all the pine trees planted around the Royal Palace area.
King Rama 9 had them planted there as he was schooled in Switzerland.
The region up there was where the Thai communist party was fighting the Thai army. The military museum there though small is an interesting visit.

Correct, DL's do not have immigration details on. AFAIK pink ID cards neither.

I'll tag on this topic instead of the golf forum. As of tomorrow the golf course and driving range at the Battle Horse Thai Army barracks (the big one adjacent to Big C/Tesco) will be closed due to the Covid situation.
There are two dates for possible reopening, but best to have a wait and see policy.
For avid golf nuts the expat society who play there have there own FB group.
Any updates will be posted there.

Sorry I don't understand. "preferred 90 day report list"
Pay 1000 Baht fee and they send the 90 Day slip in the mail to you. Up to you, I politely declined as up there regulary playing golf and easy to do if you are at Imm Off for morning opening time.
Phetchabun hasn't been open 8 years, this little cash earner carried over from Phitsanulok days.

I've been looking at the MG ZS EV.
1.19 million baht and a decent 260km range.
They were all too expensive before but now they're becoming more affordable.
They seem to go like stink too, I was behind a nice looking light blue one recently. Impressive acceleration away from traffic lights.
The dealership network appears to be improving, one 42 kms and one 100 kms away.
Phetchabun/Lop Buri border.

So you want/need to book a flight urgently back to wherever you come from. How?
For years I used a travel agent in Soi4 Nana. She did all the donkey work and I just handed the cash over.
For urgently, Bangkok Bank have given me a Mastercard now.

I just done 5 days in Saraburi hospital, 4 days in ICU. Had collapsed left lung, massive plueral effusion.
I cannot recall a test for covid, though they did take a fair bit of blood out of me for tests. I am sure they may have mentioned it.
The standard of care was excellent.

Agree, I only buy Michelins here for my cars. Better grip in wet weather conditions as well.
You work for Michelin??, plenty of decent tyres around. Nexen are excellent rain tyres.
The most expensive doesn't equate to the best.

He can apply for a extension of stay based upon marriage that does not require insurance.
A few odd immigration offices may incorrectly say it is required due to him having a entry from a OA visa.
Add Phetchabun to the list of "Incorrectlies".
Complete non starter, OA in passport, must have medical insurance. End of.

I'm well aware of how it all works thank-you.
The OP was commenting on Nationwide taking 10 days to send money to Thailand.
I simply pointed out that he could use Transferwise (from his Nationwide account) to send money to Thailand in seconds.
Maybe you should read my comment
Thankyou Mr Thailand, I am pleased that there are at least some foreigners in control of their finances here.

Renewed my 5 year car and motorcycle yesterday at our PDLT. I did notice the poster for E-bookings at the counter. Still no med certificate for 5 year renewals but the law is about to change on that.
Price, car 505B, M/C
255B, plus 5 Baht charge on each one.
Tests, still two colour ones, alignment and reaction test.
Our place lob a highway code book at you to read while you wait to pay and get your photo done.
I haven't a yellow book and do. Not bother with CoR. I get a letter from Amphur if you are married to Thai, still no charge for that.
The format of letter has changed, you need passport photo now, two witnesses, and of course passport, marriage certificates.
Blow me sideways 55, our Amphur not exactly known for farang friendliness said they would help with yellow book, and gave myself a list with what you have to produce.
This done in the Republic of South Phetchabun.

Have you tried Transferwise ? Usually money is in Thailand in seconds.
The money is in Thailand already. Maybe you should read up on how TW works.
Nationwide is a building society, not a clearing bank. They used HSBC for transfers. Well they did, I gave up on them years ago.
