  1. This is nothing unusual, new, strange or unique to the Samsung phone, every manufacturer including Apple restricts the warrantee to the market that the item is sold into. You may well have missed the point that many phones are actually unique to the area or country that they are sold into, so while it may seem that there is 1 model with 1 model number there are actually many different versions of that model so the maker only stocks the parts for the country where the model is sold.
  2. The definition of grey market goods are goods imported into a country or area the manufacturer has not sold the for. Grey market goods often/usually have no manufacture warrantee the reasons a often due to parts being different, so not available. Some Grey market goods are no different but most have subtle differences.
  3. You can only register (as @Mutt Daeng thought) when Wi-Fi is switched off. You must be using mobile data. You can only use a mobile phone for the app. You can only have I phone (this I think not sure) you can not have a phone and tablet connected using the app. In the past you could have a phone and tablet using the app. After you have registered you can use Wi-Fi. I think that you can use any phone to register including a SIM free phone.
  4. He is a salesman. That doesn’t mean that he has no technical knowledge but there are many salesmen whose job is to be nice and they are experts at that. But they are not technical experts in the details of their products. It is quite common for someone who has done enough research to know more than they do. I can virtually guarantee that the wireless charger will maintain the battery level if not increase it by much. If you want to charge your phone (Apple or android are both compatible) then you may need to use a USB cable. It is unlikely to not be fixable though it may cost too much to bother. You may need a newer model, specially because Android phone’s support lifespan is half that of the iPhones. Also in general Apple CarPlay is better and easier to use than Android Auto. (NOTE I don’t care about the Android Auto experts and long term users, you will stay with the system you know, but for the new user CarPlay is the better option) Nice young man is not equal to tech savvy, though it can be You don’t say which computer you are using. My guess is windows. For Apple computers it is, not for windows. However iTunes is the front end and there are 3 apps that have superseded it as the front end, however all your music is still available using the Music app. A very reasonable approach The problem is that apple takes the approach that they will change the way things work and you have few choices but to learn the new way. This is so much so that while I do tech support for Mac, iPhone, iPad, and iPod users I have had to call Apple tech support a few times recently
  5. It certainly doesn’t and he will not actually reveal all the needed information, however Toyota was late to the market only starting to introduce CarPlay and AA in 2019 & 2020 I can’t find when wireless CarPlay was introduced in the Camry but doubt it was early.
  6. Does his post not suggest that it is a 2023 model, that doesn’t address the fact that Toyota is so far behind other makers that they have only recently allowed CarPlay and Android Auto.
  7. No, that is taken from everyday experience Your everyday experience is remarkable different from my everyday experience. That demonstrates that you are working with the lowest cost bidders. Some may think that, I don’t. I do know of the items I talk about, this is rather different to others who think that just because they have experience in a particular geographic area that it is automatically the same in other areas
  8. that demonstrates that he doesn’t know what he is talking about as if apple CarPlay is available then so is android auto https://toyotaaudioandconnectedservicessupport.com/toyota/bluetooth-compatability/15/2236
  9. Knowing the make and model of the car will help
  10. Only if you have an old Mac OS or windows machine
  11. the information you have received is almost certainly incorrect, I can virtually guarantee that if the earlier phone will work that the iPhone 14 will also work, it is just possible that it will not fast charge but that is actually a good thing. iTunes has been deprecated on Mac OS from Catalina, it is available on older versions of the OS and with windows computers. There are now a number of apps that provide the functions formerly available in iTunes, they are apple Music, Apple TV, Podcasts, and the App Store for app updates. So it is not surprising that the salesman wasn’t familiar with it. For CarPlay I prefer YouTube Music though other apps that work are Music, Spotify (free or paid), VLC, Gold, myTuner Radio, and RadioTunes. it is incredibly unlikely that the wireless charger will only work with an iPhone.
  12. Your lower number was possibly slightly high. But as I said the design is unique and unlikely to be relevant to your situation, if you have registered on the site I linked and viewed the building thread you will see exactly why
  13. Defeated by the questions??? you are either pulling someone’s leg or of an intellectual capacity measured in low double digits
  14. That is a rather broad and mostly incorrect statement. having had a reasonable number of LED lights fail and autopsied them in almost every case one of the LEDs in one of the LED packages failed, so far it hasn’t been the driver, The reason for failure is mostly that the LEDs are driven hard so reducing the life span, along with the way they are designed is that they are mostly in series so a LED single failure in the hundred or more will kill the lamp. Certainly drivers fail, more in the cheaper and older lights, but rarely in the more expensive ones and newer models. As the understanding of the technology develops drivers and lights can have fewer components and fewer LED packages and the LEDs can be driven harder so being made cheaper and cheaper, if there is no redundancy a single point failure will kill the whole light. So if you have the knowledge to modify your lights, under run them and you can have a light that will run for 10 years 24/7/365.
  15. To give slightly more (but equally unhelpful information) the area glazed is about 57 square meters and the total for Site Inspection / Laser Measurement , Transportation , Accommodation misc. Cost and Installation was about 130k the 27k was a figure I incorrectly remembered
  16. Maybe a couple of legs but as the saying goes you get what you pay for, or conversely you don’t get what you don’t pay for. I certainly could tell you the price we paid but as we have about 50 glazing units in around 23 openings, the largest being 2000 mm x 2200 mm the smallest being 500 mm x 1300 mm, several are L shaped, several are 1400mm x 3300mm and 4 of them are remotely powered, the price would be unlikely to be of any significant relevance. AFIR the fitting was about 27k with the team travelling from Bangkok and staying in a local resort/motel the thread showing the install is https://www.coolthaihouse.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=71599#p71599 the windows start on page 16 Fri Aug 03, 2016
  17. You can get LED replacements for about 200 Baht from any of the big stores.
  18. The blind covers are incredibly simple, just an inverted L shape, any one with an ounce of skill can make one in half an hour. Just paint and screw them to the ceiling.
  19. That is almost how my illustrated covers (pictured above) are fitted, though I used MDF and plywood, this made fitting the blinds easier as only wood screws were needed. I didn’t bother to cover the IKEA blind
  20. You are referring to the OP, I did not reply to him but the person who asked the question @OneMoreFarang who from his question does not!
  21. Have you looked at the IKEA blinds? I have the FYRTUR they are good for me as they shut at night and roll up at 6:30
  22. First clean the roof (I would pressure wash it) then stick the tape down. Job done. These are the tapes and this is the usage they will stick to anything never harden and are perfect for sealing roofs, we first used small squares to seal a leaking roof about 14 years ago, it’s likely that the roof will rust away before the tape fails
