Refrigerant re-fill for AC - when?
sometimewoodworker replied to aldriglikvid's topic in The Electrical Forum
Humm. A correctly installed AC does not have leaks and may never need a top up. They can develop due to vibration damaging some of the pipes or work hardening them so potentially allowing pinholes. I have had AC units that were over 15 yeas old and have never needed refilling. So you may require a top up or may never need one. -
Solar system with Safe T Cut keeps tripping

That is why all my outside electrical boxes and lights have ant powder added -
A breaker is there to protect the cable, for that job you can use the rated size or anything less, if the small breaker does not trip there is no need to change it. FWIW the AC rated at 6.8 amps is unlikely to use more than 4 amps for most of the time. Also the breaker is likely to not trip until you are using over 12 amps for a reasonable period ½ hour and over

A rather dangerous statement, as what is “toxic”? From the CDC The more sever reactions include; body aches and pains, changes in mood, headaches memory loss, nosebleeds less severe a runny or blocked nose watery, red eyes a dry cough skin rashes a sore throat sinusitis wheezing So if you aren’t affected, great, if you are not so great.

The master of understatement!!! At that kind of voltage and power DIY has a reasonable chance of producing a crispy critter I would imagine -
Giving a price for a length without giving the dimensions and if it is rough sawn or PAR & if it has square or radiuses on the edges and which grade it is (as in the size and stability of the knots) means that it is impossible to compare it with other timber. Hear is an example of boards that are probably C grade, if you buy enough (probably 50% to 100% over) you may get enough for your project I virtually never buy from stores like DoHome apart from rubber wood and then only if I need grade B or C, for grade A or AA I go to a wood yard, the prices are better as is the quality. FWIW termites will probably be able to access your concrete room so don’t forget the Chandrite.

What is the voltage? As LiFePO4 batteries are like rabbits on AliExpress, though the prices are not cheap and I have no idea of the availability to Thailand, they are all offering “free shipping” so the prices include that cost. -

I agree that shower water heater mostly have a built in RCCB and they are exempted from the only 1 RCCB rule -
What I used under our drive was ½ shade cloth and ½ blue and white building roll it was topped with a few yards of builder’s aggregate, it has some grass growing on it but the grass is sparse and never gets long years later

@McTavish is absolutely correct in the rocks in the head remark. You are correct that pressure treated pine can be used. You are wrong if you think that any wood in Thailand is pressure treated. Pressure treatment always leaves the wood soaking wet, typically 24% moisture content, and if you think that shipping companies are going to transport that excess moisture you don’t understand logistics. So short answer, yes it’s available and as useful in framing as rocking horse s*h*i*t

FWIW Though you can have multiple RCCBs on a single feed you really really need to know what you are doing and why you are stacking them and that they are correctly (differently) configured. So in short only 1 RCCB on 1 circuit. -
I suspect you meant Udon, but thanks for searching that for me. You are correct that there are many people giving less than useful information. @DrukenMallardy if you could give me the Google map links that you found that would be extremely helpful, my Thai character recognition SW has a problem with getting anything right and when I try in English it is almost certainly 100% wrong.

Apple Confirms More Problems For iPad, iPhone Users
sometimewoodworker replied to Social Media's topic in Apple Products
Do please provide an example of equivalent devices where they are actually equivalent being half the price of an Apple phone? There are certainly cheap phones with cameras, touchscreens, etc. there are certainly ones that are an almost exact size equivalent. However the flagship phones that have equivalent specifications from all big brands are priced in the same range as the Apple ones. This is despite the fact that Apple phones get roughly twice the support lifetime in terms of system updates, which makes them twice as valuable. Just read the complaints from Android users who are being forced to upgrade 3~4 year old phones because the banking apps only work on current OS releases and they don’t get the updates. -

It is the only area of concrete required for car parking, and the only area that needs rinsing, which incidentally it needs to clear the dust that accumulates so nothing extra needed, all the other areas (about 90%) don’t need anything, the roofs just wash off into the gutters or directly into the pool. before during -

No it isn’t, it is a 10% solution (as far as I can see). It is a far stronger solution than household bleach, but it isn’t 100% as that would be extremely dangerous. -

No need to do anything but rinse off the concrete handstand. I agree on that, though we now have one that is about double the pressure, and are happy to sell, the one we got like yours, on. -

Well my walls that were moss stained are no longer moss stained, my car that was dirty and dusty is no longer dirty and dusty, my roof that was grey is now white again, so those are certainly cleaner than they were -
Since you have decided to (or neglected to), not fill in your profile the information is of very little use since you could be anywhere in the 520,000 km2 that is Thailand, not to mention that nobody round here is admitting to knowing where it is available. You ———————————- me

The door hight should be proportional to the ceiling hight. Think of stately homes with 8 meter ceiling’s and 3~4 metre doors. In general anything over 2 metres is an artistic choice, but with ceilings of only 3 metres higher doors will look disproportionately tall.

I didn’t realise that I predated you by that much! As I well remember being taken to one of the Shaftesbury Avenue theatres by my mother and watching “At The Drop of a Hat” then going to Soho for an authentic Chinese meal. We had the 2 LPs and the grooves were practically worn flat. We also had “The Bestiary Of Flanders And Swann" and the Wompom was my favourite. That and reading the 6 books of Lord of the Rings that we bought in hard cover and with 6 people reading the a few times a year wore them out. I never watched “At The Drop of another Hat” but my father organised my being an extra in both “Hard Days Night” and “Help” when I was about 12. The other claim to fame I have is getting a personally signed copy of The Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy double album from WH Smith’s in High Street Kensington

As I mentioned the time to fail is unpredictable as is the failure mode. The contacts could weld themselves shut, they could equally erode until the make no connection, they could attract enough ants that they can’t close.
