  1. There used to be talk abut mixing with a convicted felon and if it is classed as breaking the law. If she was to continue talking with her brother would she be seen as breaking the law?

Who has the power to bring charges against her and who is it that is in charge of trying to bring her brother back??

If it is the governments job then is there anybody that can asked her publicly if she is going to do so?

Of course I don`t think she would but who can make her accountable if she doesn`t??

May I suggest you read the OP again. It answers most of your questions I think

Yingluck and many Pheu Thai members will be "state officials" in a few days and Thaksin remains a fugitive convict. Every law requires her to find his whereabouts or seek his arrest, and her opponents will take full advantage of that. They will keep their radar on around the clock, not for whether she will fulfil that obligation, but for whether she or other government officials are keeping in contact with him.

Fair or unfair, this is potentially a nuke that could blow the new government away. All it'll take to detonate is a wayward Cabinet member found in Dubai or Brunei or a loose-tongued justice minister who announces "I talked to him last night."

Sorry, it`s been a long day at work.

I`ve read this but who can enforce it? Is it the courts, who do the opponents take it up with? or a case of trail by media??

Those that fly in for his birthday party. Why would that still be allowed or are they already breaking the law?

I`m sure the answer is obvious but I`m not called Sillybilly for nothing...

  3. So I understand this and please correct me if I am wrong.... As long as Thaksin does not hold an official position he can ask his sister to do whatever he likes...

Just as long as she is the person that announces it...

All she has to say is that they discussed and she thought it was a good idea...

How do you want to prevent such "consultation" anyway, whether she is in office or not? How do you prevent ANY politician to talk with ANY consultant about what couls / should be done next? And even more... how do you prevent such discussions taking part within the immediate family?

Whether or not Thaksin might return to Thailand or stays in Dubai, no law can ever stop him from talking with his sister. Would you want to hack into the phones of every politician in order to find out whether they discuss politics? We have seen the results of such actions in England...

Exactly, why do you think Taskin called her his clone? Cause she can't be stopped from talking to him and relaying his policy on to PTP MPs and parliament. Ultimately he will govern by proxy

Never said it was right or wrong, just wanted an understanding on what the EC had decided.

My views I`ll keep to myself. It`s not like my views would change anything, however it does seem to be wrong that for example if he was to sit in the same room as the cabinet members, give his ideas that as long as he is not the one to announce whatever they decide then that`s ok and legal.

  4. Is it just me reading wrong or do most of the news headlines today mention how either Pheu Thai`s promises made before the election won`t work or need a lot more thought put into them???

Is there a list of the promises somewhere so that we can view and tick them off as they are either delayed, kept or scrapped?

  5. Not going to take sides but I was in Chiang Mai when the airports were closed by the yellows protest and all it did was give me a few days extra holiday. Had no problem walking around the moat and doing my normal daily things...

Now If I had been in Bangkok when the Reds held their protest I think I would have felt a bit more intimidated...

  6. It mentions he feels it should be decided in the courtroom, Can somebody please tell me when this is due to start? When are we expecting to see the first lot of charges heard against either side?

Sorry but I`m not sure where to look to find the answers...

I'm not sure whay you're referring to but I'm going to assume it's a Red/Yellow thing? Except for many Red Shirts involved in the 2009 riots, most parties have been charged. Yellows who took control of airport are due in court next month. The worst of the Reds are trying to get themselves elected and granted amnesty or immunity.

    Thanks for the reply.

What about the everyday reds that don`t manage to get bail?

Will they have days in court one by one or they all be there together?

I would say they would all be out on bail if their leader showed any gratitude to his sacrifical lambs,he seems to have the finances to afford it, wouldn't you say? Maybe thats a wakeup call to them how much he cares for the poor.........zilch

Very hard not to appear biased based on the fact that they are still there.

As mentioned the people that asked to them to join them in protest should be doing a lot more to try and help them. Has there been any mention of Yingluck trying to visit them yet? Or is the PT still saying that the Reds are not part of them, even if their not, you would think that at least she would see them to show that at least they are both trying to fight for the same thing...

"She is definitely 'the Madonna of England' and a fine example of a gifted artist who can bring the best of herself and the team to the stage. Kylie will not fade with time, but will continue to thrive and win even more fans."

Sure she may have writtern some of her own music but so much of what she has done in her career is just copying what Madonna has done...

Madonna dated a bad boy, so Kylie copied.

Madonna wrote a book, so Kylie copied

Madonna started to wear less, so Kylie copied

    Etc...

If it wasn`t for Neighbours making it big in England not many people would know who she is...

  9. I had a quick look but can`t seem to find it anywhere.

IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO " EARN " FROM YOUR OWN LABOUR THIS TYPE OF MONEY . NOT BY ANYONE . NOT ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD . IT IS POSSIBLE FOR A NATION . BUT THE NATIONS DONT HAVE THIS TYPE OF MONEY FOR THE PEOPLE ?

  10. While discussing phones is it possssible for a fellow memberwho is in Thailand to find out some imformation for me??

I have a Galaxy S phone bought here in Australia and it`s a great phone apart from the fact it can`t send thai text. Would anybody be willing to find out for me what software the Galaxy S is using in Thailand and wether or not the option is there to switch from English or Thai language. I have looked at the Thai website for Samsung but there is no way to contact them except by phone and my thai speaking is very limted..

  11. Jatuporn is a party list MP elected based on the percentage of vote the PTP won in the December 2007 election...

So the party that voted him in ever vote him or is he likely to serve another term??? Is there any chance he will become just an everyday person in the near future. Wonder what his life would be like if he was not a member of Parliment.
