hi i am going to take my wife for a holiday to australia.....a long one if possible,i hear some say that you can get a 12 month visa now but have to leave aust every 3 months then return to aust ! anyone done this yet ?
if i did get one of these 12 month visas do i need a ticket out of aust before i arrive there ?
can you just pop up to bali for a few days then return to aust for another 3 months ?
does new zealand count as leaving aust ?
i have a super fund in aust that i live off and have been told as i have been away from aust for more than 2 years i am a non resident now and my pension will be tax at 45% .....wow....so i am going back to live there, buy a car and caravan and tour around aust for a year.the government miss me so much....they want me back.
seems you can never get away from the tax man even after you save all your life for retirement set up my own self managed super fund....then this residency thing pops up.
thanks for any advice...

I am not sure on this, but I doubt it that there is an aftermarket solution for getting a Cruise Control built in.
- Joke mode on -
Maybe you can use a Concrete brick
- Joke mode off -
brick sounds ok......
i have done about 320.000klm driving around thailand and Laos and now i have a problem with GOUT in my knee so its a little painful driving long distances some times so i thought.....cruise control.

umm ... call me a pedant but Chiang Mai is 700+ km north of BKK ... if they can't get that right, hard to trust anything else they say. Unless there is another Chiang Mai 100km south of here...
I suppose they could be using this.

better to cross at the new bridge at nakhon phonom, the staff are very helpful and do all the paper work and you can pay in US $ and nice friendly crossing with my car.

the police are in the scam business too.......went to Chang Mai last week pulled over in my car for something that did not happen......so i just drove away he tried to run and bang on the side of my car.....i just left drove away,he would just stop another car, easy money.
thats 37 times i have been stopped and just drive away ......all over thailand its the same they see your out of town number plates and think.....CASH.
i did have one cop chase me and i had to pay 200 baht.....in the old days it was called highway robbery.

wrong......sugar is to blame too much sugar in our diets and it turns to fat.....better to get your body to use fat for fuel ( ketosis ) and dont eat sugars or carbs.too much rice ,bread ,pasta (carbs ) will make you fat.
