It's way early to do anything except to wait for the form to arrive.
Exactly!
If the worry warts are so concerned then how about bombarding the FBU with queries or put daily posts on 'X" asking Musk and the Manilla ambassador where the forms are?
Looking at my records from last year, my form was dated June 6 when I received it. I mailed it out on June 26th so I'm thinking it probably took a few weeks from the time it was created and mailed to me.
After weeks had passed with mailing it I emailed the FBU mid-August and asked if they had received my signed form. They replied saying that since the process is undertaken by the US Central Office they couldn't tell me if it had been received at that time and to query them again in 1-2 months.

There used to be a game called "Sticks" that looked like that
For us, it was called 'pick up sticks':

In any event, dude's symptoms showed up after an hour and a half, which is plenty of time, per your own search.
You do understand that "within 1 to 2 days" includes 30 minutes, yes?
Here's what I posted:
Food poisoning symptoms can appear anywhere from 30 minutes to several weeks after eating contaminated food, depending on the specific cause. Most commonly, symptoms start within 1 to 2 days.
Do you not understand that my post included '30 minutes' so why do you need to try and belittle me, or are you always just an annoying a$$?
What is it with using the word 'dude', is everyone still in 7th grade?

Was it the restaurant manager that told you that?
No, the Health department back in the USA when I called to report where I thought I had contracted the food poisoning.

Mine was in Shanghai. Had just visited that big temple in the city center. Can't quite remember the name (might have been the City God Temple Complex). Anyway, right after finishing the visit, we ate at some stir fry noodle joint. It looked fine, kind of like a local fast food place. There were these little strips of pink mystery meat in the noodles and I couldn’t get a straight answer about what the meat was. It didn’t look like chicken or pork. About an hour later I headed to the airport for my flight back to Bangkok. We weren’t in the air for even half an hour before it started coming out both ends at the same time. I completely destroyed one airplane bathroom and then they had to lock it off so nobody else could use it. Then I started demolition work on a second bathroom about thirty minutes later. Between bathroom runs I was lying on the floor under my seat moaning. By the time we landed in Bangkok everything had stopped though and by the next morning I was miraculously fine. I don’t think I’ve ever had it that bad before. Normally when I get it even half as bad I end up needing antibiotics or I wind up in the hospital dehydrated on a drip. But this time it just cleared up literally the next day. All pretty insane.
I was informed that food poisoning doesn't occur that quickly.

You're in Thailand, do what many Thais do, don't use the back window.
Just fill that space with some fluffy pillows or cute stuffed animals.

I despise it when I go eat lunch somewhere and in comes 20 different dirty raggedly dressed folks, still with sunglasses, hat, and scarf/towel over their face, hawking their tickets.
Totally different effect than those scantily clad beauties in Vegas selling Keno tickets.

Why can't folks stay on topic and start a new thread if needed?
This thread is not about taxation......
.......isn't that right DUDE?

Of course not but it's a large sample and we would know by now if anyone in Thailand got the form yet.
"......if anyone in Thailand.... "
...but it appears you seem to think so
Just an FYI.... I used to get emails from SS (often) but I chose a selection which only sends me an email notification when there's a new message in 'my Social Security' Message Center. I got no email today. The last email I received was in May 2024 telling me that there's a new statement for review in my Social Security'......... prior to that there was an email in Oct '24 talking about the upcoming COLA (which occurred for 2025).

Have to look at the maths.
Every ticket has a 1 in 1,000,000 chance of winning. I don't know how many of each number (say 123456) is printed. I've read that it could be 24. For sure it will be more. But that is not to say the winning number is actually purchased. Maybe no one wins the biggie. That would cut the overall payments down considerably. On the other hand, perhaps only winning tickets got sold that draw, and all the losing ones were returned. IE; scanned in before the cut off time. That would mean one ginormous pay out.
The whole thing is for my thinking; less than transparent. Not to say, of course, that the Thai lottery is not fair in the way the numbers are drawn. But there is no fixed pay out - or % of - so how would one know. Only the organisers know how much comes in and how much goes out. Does this get published?
Not sure what you're trying to prove. I used basic mathematics.....divided 48,000,000 by 14,168
"The Thai lottery features multiple prize categories, boasting a hefty total prize pool of 48 million baht across 14,168 winning tickets."
That equates to an average of 3,300 THB per winning ticket......a joke for sure!

I've bought tickets occasionally for over 20 years now.
Won 2,000 once way back when and 2 years ago won 4,000 (2 x 2,000 baht tickets). ......Damn dude, do you always post novels?
NOTE:Shortened the quote to eliminate all the text space taken.

Where does it say it's ok for 2025? I only see it says for last year (2024).

Ah, so you cannot be specific? Which corrupt authorities allowing DLs to be purchased have you had experience of? My money's on none.
You are correct, I personally have not experienced one as I passed my test (written and driving) with ease.
It was a very good acquaintance who informed me about his Thai wife failing the test twice and then handed the instructor 2k THB the third time and miraculously passed. I have read a few similar stories on Facebook.
No need for me to 'rat out' which location, I thought you were LL and knew everything? Besides I'm not ratting out where I say the policeman was without a helmet either...

Don't forget, the inability of most Thai drivers being able to pull side and stop for emergency vehicles.
Just as much of an issue as giving the right-of-way to pedestrians. (IMO)

Education and being taught respect for life is first. Second is extreme punishment if you drive through a pedestrian zone and kill someone. When others see a 10 year mandatory jail sentence with no possibility of leniency, others think that could be them and slow the hell down around people.
Also more stringent training and not allowing the ability to PAY FOR a driver's license.

There are many many initiatives that could be started in order to improve the road situation. None of them will be implemented for any longer than a week, max a month.
Why? Because it’s up to the Thai people in the form of their government to carry them out and live them every day. They don’t and won’t.
Which means that the RTP are the body that have to ensure compliance with laws and the judiciary who have to punish non compliance.
Example:
New enforced helmet law......2k THB
TOO FUNNY!!!
I still continue to witness many riding without helmets. While driving across town I count how many helmetless drivers/riders I see.... I easily reach 100 with only going 1km or 2km around the town. And to top it off just a few hours ago when I went out I witnessed a ranking police officer on a scooter without a helmet!
I saw one scooter (which is occasionally seen) with 5 wearing no helmets..... That one scooter alone would be 10k THB revenue....

If you recall the data from a prior article it said that 14 pedestrians are killed daily in Thailand.
I imagine not all are the fault of a driver as I've witnessed some pretty crazy people walking/crossing the roads stupidly.
A lot of articles and remarks are about zebra crossings, what about the pedestrian walkways in front of stores like Lotus, Big C, and Makro? How often do you see vehicles give the right-of-way to those going in/out of the stores? Do you stop for them? I do....... until I see that the pedestrian waiting to cross isn't paying one bit of attention.

The status now is that no one has received one yet, so we are all in the same boat.
You seem to think that every US expat living in Thailand read and post to this forum..... Might as well say DOGE is the cause.
You apparently forgot what you posted:
"I've opened this thread to discuss issues regarding the SSA Form 7162 forms here in 2025."
I guess you should have said: 'I've opened this thread so that folks can post when they receive their form, nothing more.'
