  1. Eliminate their jobs? Seriously? They should know that they are overwhelmed if it takes them days/weeks to respond to an email.....and months to react to various requests.....or perhaps the inability for a person to contact them via phone. One would think that they would accept and appreciate some help. Again.....folks should (if they are able) take the time and meet with the FBU in CM and at least be vocal let them know they lack supporting us properly.
  2. I did!! I shrunk myself down to an itty biddy size, jumped in the friggin envelope and followed my 7162 across the SSA employee's desk while it was being verified and inputted into the system. Are you for real?????
  3. I know that, but they are supposed to be our 'eyes & ears' or are they not? Overwhelm them and then perhaps they will understand that they need some support....... Would it hurt to express yourself about the need of an automated process? Folks on AN rant & rave about DOGE and how they are cutting expenses..... so it takes $0 to send folks from the Manila Embassy to CM? LMAO
  4. Hey folks, instead of whining, crying, and boasting how much you think you know how about going to CM and let the Manila FBU know how much a desired automated process would be? If a lot of folks crammed the Payap University on July 22nd then perhaps the FBU will take more notice of us wanting an electronic process. https://th.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/federal-benefits/social-security/?fbclid=IwY2xjawLizwdleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETBIZ2drT3VockNpMFpjSlRwAR4B9wOjCckfZcs2UlczOA_wiqn0J1zqMtKLKrEgjEc2MJpyD0lohx641-AAHA_aem_nupxtqfgW4KDLipzmtXnEg As I stated before, be loud, get noticed, and maybe they will understand our concerns. I bombard the Manilla Ambassador almost weekly on 'X (Twitter) about our lack of support in Southeast Asia.
  5. I can't believe you spent 2 hours of our time watching that crap....
  6. How about comparing the USA homicides annually per capita vs. annual vehicle fatalities in Thailand per capita? I know which is worse (by far) without even looking at the numbers. .......and yet the AN <deleted> still try to bash the USA...... happens all the time when you're 'top dog'!
  7. Nobody is mentioning one of my favorites, Celestial Seasonings...
  8. Yeah, that was my initial thought as well when I first saw the title to this thread...
  9. Isn't that the same symptoms from many different illnesses?
  10. Maybe where you live, but where I live I find that Lotus is cheaper than Makro on many items.
  11. Just imagine if Thais had to drive on snow-packed and icy roads...... I think it would be more entertaining than watching Texans driving in Colorado during some of those snow days.... 'Hey, I have 4-wheel drive, I can go fast without any problem.' 🙂
  12. Just where does this "International Operations" reside and what is their phone number? (Are you referring to the FBU in Manilla?) TIA, as I like to confirm things myself rather than take the word of an unknown forum poster.
  13. Just as I thought, a typical AN a$$ who lacks reading comprehension.
  14. Exactly! If the worry warts are so concerned then how about bombarding the FBU with queries or put daily posts on 'X" asking Musk and the Manilla ambassador where the forms are? Looking at my records from last year, my form was dated June 6 when I received it. I mailed it out on June 26th so I'm thinking it probably took a few weeks from the time it was created and mailed to me. After weeks had passed with mailing it I emailed the FBU mid-August and asked if they had received my signed form. They replied saying that since the process is undertaken by the US Central Office they couldn't tell me if it had been received at that time and to query them again in 1-2 months.
  15. For us, it was called 'pick up sticks': https://continuumgames.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/CG0362-scaled.jpg
  16. Here's what I posted: Food poisoning symptoms can appear anywhere from 30 minutes to several weeks after eating contaminated food, depending on the specific cause. Most commonly, symptoms start within 1 to 2 days. Do you not understand that my post included '30 minutes' so why do you need to try and belittle me, or are you always just an annoying a$$? What is it with using the word 'dude', is everyone still in 7th grade?
  17. No, the Health department back in the USA when I called to report where I thought I had contracted the food poisoning. AI from Google: Food poisoning symptoms can appear anywhere from 30 minutes to several weeks after eating contaminated food, depending on the specific cause. Most commonly, symptoms start within 1 to 2 days.
  18. I was informed that food poisoning doesn't occur that quickly.
  19. You're in Thailand, do what many Thais do, don't use the back window. Just fill that space with some fluffy pillows or cute stuffed animals.
  20. I despise it when I go eat lunch somewhere and in comes 20 different dirty raggedly dressed folks, still with sunglasses, hat, and scarf/towel over their face, hawking their tickets. Totally different effect than those scantily clad beauties in Vegas selling Keno tickets.
  21. Why can't folks stay on topic and start a new thread if needed? This thread is not about taxation...... .......isn't that right DUDE?
  22. ...and I was talking about 2 things: - proof of life form - getting emails from SSA DUDE!!!
  23. "......if anyone in Thailand.... " ...but it appears you seem to think so Just an FYI.... I used to get emails from SS (often) but I chose a selection which only sends me an email notification when there's a new message in 'my Social Security' Message Center. I got no email today. The last email I received was in May 2024 telling me that there's a new statement for review in my Social Security'......... prior to that there was an email in Oct '24 talking about the upcoming COLA (which occurred for 2025).
  24. Again..... You're positive that everyone who is a US citizen receiving SS is an AN forum member?
  25. Not sure what you're trying to prove. I used basic mathematics.....divided 48,000,000 by 14,168 "The Thai lottery features multiple prize categories, boasting a hefty total prize pool of 48 million baht across 14,168 winning tickets." That equates to an average of 3,300 THB per winning ticket......a joke for sure!
