I live on a soi off Patak road in Kata. I can tell you it is a nightmare to exit out our soi. Out for lunch today to Chalong. OMG. Long traffic tails all roads in out of Chalong Circle. We will be stuck with this for many many months/years. Ang high season is round the corner. -
About 14.00 try drive from chalong circle along Chaofa East. Bad flood before first traffic lights. Police directing traffic cross link to Chaofa West. Expect west to be worse flooded. Turn round to circle and have nice lunch at Tamarin by the sea.

I second that place. Use all the time. But really not any cheaper same for same Makro, but larger selection. I you really want a real price blowout then Villamarket is the place. Think 3 stores about Phuket. One Chalong roundabout.

No inter province vehicle reg issue. It's owner rental agreement issue. Police don't care. But no drive license will be an issue. Fine every day caught, -
Phuket Zoo was reputed to be a disgrace over many years. To be honest as have no eyes on input as i refused to pay money to find out. I am grad its finished. Like the dolphin show next door. Singapore Zoo Park is the way to show animals as best as possible in nature.
