SK1,
if you don't mind me asking, whats so special about this particular juicer?
I have been thinking about buying one, but if you have any useful info as to why its better than others I would be interested to know
Thanks
A friend of mine bought one from Aden health food store a few years ago, he uses it regularly without any issues, easy to use and clean, Ban Suan Pak only has a Samson for 16,000 and she's says basically it's rubbish and and a Green Gear for 28,500 YES 28,500 bht, reviews state that it's slow hard to clean and of course, expensive. Aden no longer carries them.

Anyone know where I can buy an Oscar 900 Juicer in Chiang Mia, or order from somewhere in Thailand. Been looking for a while to no avail, appreciate any help.

Any recommendations for a decent insurance broker in Chiang Mai? I need insurance for my pick. Thanks in advance.

A very fit and healthy 74 year old friend of mine has been getting blood in his urine for the past year, he is not a typical older guy, he bikes long distances, hikes, works out at the gym, and is in very good shape apart from the blood issue. He was told that the cycling was the probable cause but hasn't biked in a couple of months and still gets the blood after hardish exercise. Anyone had a similar problem? He's not even sure of the exact problem, prostate is a little large, biopsy was negative.
Can anyone recommend a good urologist in town? Thanks in advance.

Earlier this year I stayed a couple of times at the 'Phumanee' hotel (just Google it).
Lovely hotel, wonderful, friendly staff with a family atmosphere. Good, clean, rooms and I think 'deluxe' room was only 500 baht/night.
I recommend it without hesitation.
Enjoy your trip!
I Can only add a plus 1 to this.
I stayed there on a recent biking trip with some friends and it was a fantastic welcome from the manager and his staff. The rooms are great, i think we onky paid about B350 but there were over a dozen of us in total.
The Manager's name is Dome and you can get in touch on 0839488091 or 053452875-6
he also has a place in the hills where his family are from, they grow tea and coffee up there if you prefer something a little different.
I would not hesitate to stay there again if I'm in Fang, in fact it would be the first place I went to if I'm honest.

Thanks, I'm cycling there myself, I'll be sure to stay there, thanks for the great information

Garmin is a GPS with a HR feature Polar dedicated HRMs and are by far the best HRM money can buy, in my humble opinion of course. I have several of them. Robinson used to sell Polar at an outrageous price, but now sell some cheap/crappy brand. I am selling a used Polar F11 if your interested.
With all due respect I have been using HR monitors for over 20 years for triathlon & will stick with Garmins. After switching 5 years ago I never looked back.
Yes they do have GPS functions as well as other functions. Because the polar is a one trick pony does not make it the best horse on the race.
The Garmin has superior HR reception & accuracy in all conditions compared to Polars I have owned
Just an option for the OP to look at.....
@
20 years eh? I got my first one trick pony in 1989, my latest Polar has slightly more than that, including GPS inclinometer altitude, I quess Garmin suits you and Polar suits me, both fine products I'm sure good luck to you.

Dont mean to go off topic but...wanted to mention that I have had many Polar's & while they are good
the Garmins are way better
They just have better reception & accuracy IMO
Add to that the soft strap & the added computer software/training center if you choose to use it.... & it is just so much better.
Perhaps you may also find the added features useful if your using it for exercise

I've been having real problems receiving my mail lately, from England and the US. If it is sent priority or express or priority no problems but standard of first class it just doesn't show up. I have about 10 pieces of mail missing. I've been to the post office in town and they said, in not so many words, if it's not recorded then your on your own. Any one had a similar problem or useful solution? Cheers

I do a lot of cycling here in Chiang Mai. I'm selling My Polar RS800CX Multi with the GPS sensor that can be reviewed on Google earth. It's just a couple of months old. Super easy to use and has endless training/fitness features. Includes training software, infa red computer interface, Polar W.I.N.D. GPS and Heart stap transmitter. I have just bought another Polar computer and don't need both. Anyone interested can let me know. Thanks

What harm did Thai nationalism the last 200 years to the world compared to the nationalism of : Germany, England, France, America, Japan, China, Israel, Russia, Turkey, Belgium, Dutch, Spain, Portuguese, Arabia etc. ?
Well said.
How has it benefited us? What have they contributed to the world of technology/medicine/education, etc???

I've been with AIG for about 5 years, last year I bought a new Truck and for convenience (ha Ha)I put it in my wife's name, she had a licence but for less than 1 year. They gave me so many problems at the office that I cancelled my policy with them. So can anyone recommend an insurance company/agent for my pick up? Not AIG of course. I need first class ins. Cheers

When you're driving into town and a BUS, driving the wrong way towards you, honks for you to get out of his way and you do without giving it a second thought.

Eat some chicken with eggs.
The guy is a VEGAN.. any idea what that is ?
The population of the west was the healthiest during the latter part of the second world war and the years following with rationing, do you think any of them were 'vegans'? No access to man made/processed products. I appologise for making a glib response but it seems to me that there's is no real, natural or healthy reason to be a vegan. Just want to give some practical advice.
