Yes, my incadecent bulbs go out fast, sometimes a week or two is all I get from Phillips in my office. At home, they do seem to last longer.
Most flourescents give off a 'cool' colored light that is unappealing (think 7-11 ).
If you go with flourescents, look for the warmer color. Says 'warm' on the box.

and keeping the spice in my relationship to counter outside temptations.
Yeah.go out to a go-go bar and take someone you both fancy, that sure spices thing up!
He'll never leave you!!!!
All joking aside, this could be the best option.
Take your relationship to the next level.
Invite a couple Thai cuties to move in with you.

Ok now where is sunrise taco?
Located in the small shopping Plaza between Sukhumvit Soi 12 and the Times Square Tower.
BTS - Asoke is the closest station.

Let's be honest.
People that don't look whre they walk, block entry to elevators, skytrains and try to get on before the passengers disembark are just plain stupid.

60,000,000 Thais would benefit from, better prices, better service and selection from the Super Stores.
Say goodby to out of date food items and a guarantee that is actually worth somthing.
A few greedy businessmen won't let it happen.

Big selection of magazines at Central Chitlom, 7th floor.
A huge bookstore at the World Trade Mall has even more.

Remants of spicy food was found in Roman ruins.
Lead poisoning dulls the taste buds..therefore spicy food is needed.
I see loads of illogical activity in Thailand so I may be on to somthing...

$1,000,000USD invested in 75% stocks 25% fixed income should safely kick out $3000/month after taxes.

Quite right too. So they should.
If you're sending stuff like that in, it's dutiable. Trying to save a few dollars this way, you deserve to get scammed.
You condone extortion and under the table payments?
You're taking this love affair with all things Thai a bit too far, Agreed?

I bet there is some serious money to be made in the Animal Control field.
I'd pay to get rid of the vermin on my Soi.

I will make a prediction.
The duty will be over 8000bt.
They will not give a receipt for that amount.
They will hold your delivery for 10 days to add on storage fees.

How many more screwups will happen before the Thais decide to maintain their airports?
Below are quotes regarding a similar fiasco years ago in Sutrat Thani.
"Equipment to allow aircraft to land safely in bad weather was removed from the airport here six months before a Thai Airways plane crashed Friday killing 101 people"
"A Thai air force pilot who had just flown into the airport Sunday said that the removal of the system meant pilots had to use a less accurate radio navigation system that relies on a visual sighting of the runway once the aircraft has descended to 500 feet (152 meters)."
"Survivors of the crash said the pilot had complained of poor visibility, had twice failed to land and was trying a third time when the aircraft crashed"
"The plane crashed into nearby swampland and burst into flames, but forty-five people on board survived."
"Asked Sunday if navigation systems at Surat Thani were up to international standards, the president of Thai Airways Thamnoon Wangle told reporters: ``I do believe so.''
"Airport officials said the landing aid equipment at Surat Thani had been ``operating perfectly'' Friday."

Won 3 elections by landslide.
If he were here to run again, he would win .
A small group of elite in Bangkok want to run things their way.
They have the guns and control the press.
Not very democratic.

"Vutichai confirmed that three of six systems designed to detect a dangerous weather phenomenon known as wind shear were not working when the passenger jet crashed, but said that may not have caused the tragedy."

Moving into a newly built house this week - It was time to shop for appliances.
Finalised which items I was going to buy - went down to the shop I had been negotiating with and concluded the purchase.
Bought an aircon unit, refrigerator & hot water unit.
Walked out of the shop at 11.30am yesterday.
Aircon guys turned up at 12.30pm. Refrigerator was delivered 1.00pm. Hot water guy turned up 1.00pm.
All finished by 2.30pm, everything was straight, no messy wiring, all holes filled & all tested & working.
Three hour turnaround!
And to top it off, all mess, dust, rubble etc was cleaned spotlessly without me even having to mention a thing.
Unbelievable! TIT? Honestly after having experienced typical Thai service many times before & read hundreds of tales of woe on this forum I was shocked....
Anybody else have some eye opening experiences to share about Thai tradesmen? Good, bad or just plain bizzare?
Cheers,
Soundman.
Stranger things have happened.

Somthing strange about Monks running a tourist trap.
The story reminds me of the Night Safari guy opening a wildlife restaurant.
Somthings not right.

900 scammers caught at the airport.
What does that number represent? 10% - 20% of the conmen working out there?
Boggles the mind.
-
They spend 10 million on promotion while the Con artists are ripping off tourists at virtually every tourist site.
900 scammers were recently picked up at the new airport then let go to do it again. Yes,900!.... and that is just at the airport.
