You will have to be patient, it is nighttime in Thailand and most of the experts are asleep.

You are correct, the date of entry is day nr 1 for the 90 days count.

Invest in watches, claim they belong to a deceased person. It is a proven strategy.. They will let it slip for sure.

My history is limited to about 5 to 7 postings. Load more activity does not work. If I go to my profile / activity only a few postings show made last week and one made in 2013.

It should have been a see through top, now that would have been a reason

When filling out the TM6 arrival card make sure you use the re-entry permit number, not your original visa number, and make sure your are stamped in that way. If stamped in on a `30 day exempt`stamp means you will have to start your retirement visa application all over again.

Looks like a Carpenter bee. Look them up for pics, I am sure you will find a likeness amongst them.
There are around 500 species of the carpenter bee, xylocopa, nearly all building nests in dead wood or bamboo. They are often similar in size and appearance to bumble bees, but are distinguished by having a hairless, shiny upper abdomen.
Carpenter bees do not eat wood; the adult female bee excavates tunnels 3-6 inches long in the wood to lay the eggs. The eggs are laid in a set of small cells in branching tunnels, or separated by a thin sliver of wood along a tunnel, each provided with a ball of pollen on which the larvae can feed. The entrance hole is perfectly round, about half an inch diameter — the size of a finger. The female can enlarge old tunnels or create new ones for egg laying. The bees are generally solitary, but can ‘cohabit’ or nest in groups.
When a bee is active there may be coarse sawdust beneath the entry hole and scraping sounds heard coming from within the wood. Carpenter bees prefer bare or weathered wood, so painted or treated wood is a deterrent.

Someone had the bright idea of blowing up a dead, beached whale. There is a video somewhere on the net. I won't spoil the outcome.
This one? It was a bit bigger... So was the aftermath

Happy with them, reasonably fast and transparent. What they promise is what you get. No extra costs added afterwards or bank costs at the receiving end. Informed by mail about the status of the transaction, and when the transaction is finished.

Passports get replaced all the time. If there's one place where they should know it should be immigration. Take the old passport with you and it will be ok just in case. They probably may not even notice or care. Your driving license maybe has the wrong number now too, nobody cares about that either. ( I am sure someone will come along and tell me otherwise, but you know what I mean).

I think there is a need for a criminal backround check for a retirement visa unless the requirements have changed.I had to have a criminal backround check done for O A retirement visa.I would check on the immigration site for sure but I don't think it changed.
You are absolutely right if one would like a OA retirement visa, but not for the regular O retirement visa. I am sure if the topic starter looks at them both, he will make the right choice. I am not sure if a conviction like the topic starter describes would matter when asking for a OA visa, but it can be avoided by applying for an O visa altogether.

For a non imm O visa based on retirement there is no need for a police background check, so nobody will know. No need to worry about it.

It is bad right now. Error 520 and 522 are almost standard after waiting for a long...long time.
Forum is close to unusable at this moment.
I just got a 524 error as well. Is this a competition between error numbers?
