You said there are two units with the same specs, have you tried switching remotes? It is a long shot but remotes sometimes can send erratic signals. Make sure the remote batteries are ok.

Suing for such a low amount is the ultimate insult.

After enlarging the pic on screen and noticing the shape of the beak I would say it is a raptor, but the pic is unclear to determine which one.

When reporting in person you have window of 15 days before until 7 days after the original report date.

Include the report date as the first day for the 7 days after calculation.

With 3 days late you will be fine. No problems there.

In some if not most countries I took a thai lady to it is mandatory to have an insurance, no insurance means no visa. Most certainly for Europe. 

Some of the caribbean islands i took her to have a holiday also wanted to see an insurance policy. Lots of other countries have this as a rule.

Using a 125 volts labeled cable with a 220 volt outlet is not a problem since the 220 about halves the current (Amps) compared to a 110 volt system.

110/125 volts would be more "stressful" to the cable due to the higher current.  It is not a problem to use it with 220. 

Nope, too far gone. Could be just the end of life, grown to the max height and not able to transport water up to where it is really needed. Top side becomes soggy and weak, no more new leaves will grow. 

Take a tree saw and cut it as close to the ground as you can. The stump will rot in a couple of months and can easily be removed.
