  1. I don't know what your content is but you can look for experienced low cost writers on warriorforum.com. When the page appears, click on the top left of the page on "Warrior Forum-Internet marketing forums". Then look down on the third row of the table under Warriors for hire. There, you will find what I think you want. I also do content work on the side. If you want, check out my website at "budgettravelerhell.com" and see if my writing style is to your liking. I am also inexpensive. But I can only commit to 4 hours a day as I do have a regular job here in the LOS.

  2. I flew into Suvarnabhumi yesterday at noon and made my way to immigration and I couldn't believe what I saw. The entire Immigration hall had spilled out onto the terminal floors. It was total chaos. One look at this and people started turning away shaking their heads knowing they would not get through in one day. After calling my wife and telling her I would probably have to spend the night in the airport, I saw a group of girls find a small opening through a barrier and followed them. Thereby getting ahead of about 7 or 800 people. And those were the ones that couldn't even make it to the hall. Tensions were flaring between the officers and the people. Especially those with children. Many had to lose their place in line because they had to use the restrooms. After 2 1/2 hours of waiting in an unorganized line I asked the Immigration official how many people he thought were waitng and he put the number between 2,000 to 2,500. I usually come at the same time each trip and there are usually only about 150 people waiting. Anyone hear what was going on? The Immigration official would not tell me anything. If this is what it will be like each time I think I will have to find a way to fly directly to Chiangmai. :)

  3. A friend of mine had a similar problem. but with the red buses blaring their advertisements at 6 in the morning. He paid another Thai to follow the driver all day to see where he lived and then drove his pick up truck over to the front of the mans house and blasted rock music every night at midnight. He did this for three nights and the bus driver never came back. Either has any other red bus after that. (Word spreads quick about crazy farangs) Ask your late night guests to party next to his house late at night as long as they can and give them a free bottle of whiskey. After a few days of this I think he'll get the picture. After all, you have no responsibility over what your guests do off your property :)

  4. Thongkorn, your reply was fine. Although a bit off topic. It's some of the other idiots who have nothing else to do but give sarcastic answers that are the problem. My advice. Go to Teak Door. Less morons. Just for giggles. I'm 52. But in great shape(Ultra marathoner) and look very young for my age. Married to a 32 year old. Never even had an argument all these years. We're both very laid back People. Getting a K-1 should not be a problem my friend in the embassy says. (He's also my running partner) Good luck to you both.

  5. Minke, just watch out that the vet you take it to to get it put down actually does it. My little dog was poisoned in my village. (Never been out of the yard) and was in great pain so I took it to a clinic where they told me it will eventually die in a couple days. I asked them to put him down and they told me they would. Next day I saw him on the streets of Chiang Mai lying near the moat just down from the clinic. They just let him out the back door after I had left I guess. Don't trust them and their stupid smiles. :)

  6. I want to build a log cabin using logs made from cement or other materials besides wood. I have seen them used for decoration but not for building an entire house. Any suggestions as to where I can purchase them? And if you have any comments about this idea I would like to here them. Also, where can I find the siding that looks like wood but is made from plastic?

  7. The reason why the other mixed hash was started is because new women were not welcome on the original. They are very cliqueish. After trying 3 times to bring along a new member I gave up and went to the newer one as have many others. When lady's attitude changes maybe they will come back. I doubt it though. :o

  8. I bring my dogs to the Agricultural Center (School) Along the Canal road. Go up Suthep Road, turn right along the canal and it's maybe 4or 5 k down on your right before the next light. You can turn right on the canal over the bridge and into the entrance. Just drive on back and you will see the small lake. :o

  9. I just recently went to the consulate and they indeed have stopped giving them out. They were telling everyone who had a village wedding with their Thai wife (including myself) to have it done legally with the paperwork in the city and bring the paperwork and copy of her i.d. back to them and they will issue a Non Immigrant Visa. Otherwise, no dice. :o

  10. I would kill, skin and dress them myself until I show a worker how to do it. I can sell them live for a cheaper price or sell them whole or cut up in pieces. I can always sell the cuter ones as pets too, but if I sell them dressed already no one will know if it was a cute little white bunny or a average brown one. I can probably show someone how to tan the skins for use and sell them to him. Don't know what they could be used for accept decoration though.

  11. The stall at Chatuchak market has a website called Boonsongs Rabbit farm. Project 13 Soi 6. But they only advertise pet rabbits on it. I'll have the wife contact them and see if they they can get their hands on some. Thais, near our house sell dog on a stick at their B-B-Q stand so I don't see why they would shy away from rabbit. But seeing the way they treat their dogs in Thailand I guess they don't consider them pets.

  12. Thanks for the input guys. I would house them in a cement building which would be well ventilated with fans which would also keep out the local dogs and what have you. Maybe have recirculated water running over the roof when it's too hot. Back in the states and Austalia which can be hotter than Thailand there isn't too much of a problem with overheating under the right conditions. There's also rabbit food sold in all the big pet shops around Chiangmai where I'm at but no one knows where to buy them except Warorote Market and near the airport. And those are just the family pet kind. Maybe I will have to go to China to get them or get them sent from New Zealand. My wife, who comes from a village of dirt farmers says they would do very well selling in the back country for the right price. Before they were hunted to depletion she said many villagers ate them. If the bird flu ever came back(God forbid) it would be an excellent alternative meat source. I guess all I can do is try. As my father once said. Sometimes ya gotta have more balls than brains to make things work. Hope this is one of them. If not, at least I tried and I'll always have food on the table.

Thanks for your help checking it out for me Slapout. And thank you too Seykoya.

  13. Does anyone know where I can purchase rabbits to raise for meat? I have raised them with some success in the states and would like to do so here in Thailand. Any thoughts on it being a profitable enterprise? They would be raised and slaughtered on the same premises. How would I go about marketing it? Would I need a special license? And would I be able to sell the Fur? Any advice would be appreciated. :o
