  1. I'm going back to the states Monday, but won't be back for 10 weeks. I brought some back for Winnie the Kwai and myself last trip, If you or anyone wants, I can bring back a bottle. The Huy Fong brand in a large squeeze bottle, But, as I said, I won't be back for 10 weeks. Winnie, if you need another bottle, let me know.

  2. Forgot to mention. You can also run along canal road on the other side of the canal. About 12k. You might have to run out along the road for a short bit in some areas, but it's all flat with plenty of places to buy water or whatever. Also, the Mae Jo area behind the university is "THE" number one area for serious runners. The Agro center and 700 Year stadium are good for short distance runners (10 to 30k) but you get bored easy. Look up the Chiang Mai House Harriers. You don't have to drink beer after the runs as they have soft drinks as well and as Flash Git said, You will be introduced to every running trail in Chiang Mai. A lot of old gits like myself run with them and they have long distance runs outside the area every couple of months. I organized a 50k run last October. Hot and hard, but lots of fun. P.M. me if you want more info.

  3. It's not whether you win or lose. It's how drunk you get.

I can eat a bowl of alphabet soup and sh*t a better argument than that.

Never have a dog watch your food.

Just because it fits in your mouth, doesn't mean it belongs there.

Compare your lives to mine and then kill yourselves.

  4. So what happens if they succeed in getting the victory nullified. They themselves would not be able to meet the standards they say the Democrats did not meet.

Would the next candidate in the list of top vote getter's take over.

Or would there be an election again. That I believe would crush the PT. It would give the average man in the street the chance to give his opinion of the manipulating practices of the PT to achieve the means to complete control of the corruption gravy train they are on.

The ones who didn't vote for them in the first place would never vote for them now and the ones who did vote for them would see more of the rotten side of the PTP even some of the red shirts would be able to see it unless they went back to the red shirt school for democracy for a refresher brain wash course.

Spot on. If they went ahead with a new election, they would lose by much more.

Then again, PTP might find a way to register the up country reds as Bangkok residents. Or even dead people for that matter. I wouldn't put it past them. And they wouldn't have to pay them either.

  5. A couple years ago, I had woken up to a massive hangover and downed a big bowl of soup that my neighbors from Isaan had brought over the day before and then went for a run in the jungle to clear my head. A few hours later my wife calls and asks if I'm feeling alright. I told her I was fine except for a slight headache andI asked her why. She then asks if I had the soup the neighbors brought over. I said yes I did. why? She asked if I noticed anything unusual about it. No honey, I was too hungover to even bother to look. Just tell me why. She said that the soup is full of maggots. What? Yeah, they're all floating around in the soup. Knowing my neighbors are from Isaan, I asked her if she thought they were put in there on purpose. She said she doesn't think even Issan people would purposely put maggots in soup, so she threw it out. I never got sick and I never did bother to ask the neighbors if they meant to add them in. Now we always check the food out when they bring some over.

  6. They sell them at one or more of the orchid and butterfly farms on Mae Rim road. Haven't been there for years, but I'm sure they still sell them. I think it's the first or second one on the left coming from Chiang Mai,

  7. Try www.http://lannainterpack.com

    or

I go to the a place thats near the flower market near lotus. On the way out of the city from the moat as you go towards Lotus, when you get to the second light where all the Bars and Restaurants start, turn right. On your left will be a white building with enough parking for 1 or 2 vehicles. Park in there. They have just about everything in any quantity you like.

  8. I'd like to know as well. They had one at the old bar beer center a while back, but I haven't been there in a while. I'll check around. I'd love to set up a weekly tournament play. My missus also likes to play and considering putting one in her place on Moonmuang if she can find one. i recall a place in Bangkok that sells them. I'll se if I can find it again and see what I can do. Really miss playing.

  9. Here are a couple I use for small parts. Very friendly. Not around Chiang mai though.

  10. I haven't seen a hurling match in 30 odd years. Living in the states, it wasn't shown much at all. I remember the first time I saw one. It looked like a combination of Mad Max meets field hockey. I thought it was the greatest sport ever invented. I don't know if it's as brutal as it was back then, but, my god, those were some sadistic S.O.B's.
