G'day all, since building house & rental properties, ( land was purchased in Thai name )my wife has become a naturalised Australian , is she still entitled to own land , real estate in Thailand, she still has Thai ID card in married name ?

I am currently going thru the minefield of mis information about my next trip to LOS ? I was hoping to fly from Sydney late December , I hear I have to stay 1 nite in a selected hotel in bkk, (arrival port) during which you get tested, if all clear , can fly anywhere ? My house is in rural Chiang Mai where vaccination rate is still down, as such I will fly straight there, have to renew motorbike licence etc, what is best priced travel insaurance with COVID cover ? Any suggestions please ? After tidy a few issues, I can holiday in bkk, Pattaya, but  I’m sure locals don’t want me coming & going to village, fair enough, their defence is to keep visitors out , any help, advice appreciated, licence renewal,? Expired whilst COVID travel bans.

My credit runs out next month, I have bkk bank online , can I do transfer to my phone acc , ? I could ask in laws , but language , tips etc ? Any info appreciated , cheers

So what if legally married, 50/50 ? 

wouldn't youse be better looking at a permanent residence visa/ retirement visa, save all the hassle you risk experiencing every entry,

thanks for all your help guys, the finer point is she wants divorce, I'm pretty sure her I D card has married surname, if we both go register, sign divorce papers, she can regain maiden name , thence Thai passport in maiden name, she can live Thailand, no problem, just travel over the border to exit ( Aus Passport) re-enter on Thai passport, all done, we are both 60 years old. 

would that be right ?

My Thai wife wants to go back to her village to retire, thing is she 's been living in australia for 25 years, has aust. Passport, but still retains Thai I'd card, can she just resume village life as a Thai citizen ?

G'day all, I'm gunna be 3 days over my 2 month single entry tourist visa, I don't really want to pay at airport, as this I think is not the best way, can I get a week's extension ? Or something similar , when do I apply,just before expiry, or 2-3 weeks before, I' m in Cnx,

Yes on re-think, i might just extend my stay in bkk on arrival, & go to the vietnam embassy, apply there, thanks anyway.

G'day guys, I'll be in thailand late august -early november, instead of visa extension, I was thinking of flying from cnx to dong hoi, (new route opening in august) with jetstar pacific, probably early october, my question is can I get vietnam visa in cnx? or can get on arrival in vietnam ? or do I have to travel to bkk to apply vietnam embassy.?

I usually travel to thailand on a 2 month tourist visa from australia (semi -retired), H however this time I plan to be about 65 -70 days in country, can I get a 1 month extension on this type of visa, or should I plan a short holiday to laos & come back o/land & get 2 extra weeks ?thanking you for your replies.

G'day all, I think my situation slightly different, I am semi retired, spending 3-4 months, LOS,have house sankhaemphang, married thai national, I have 2 year temporary motorcycle licence due for renewal june 2017,do i need a letter from immigration ? can i get a 5 year licence this time ?

Did she inform her embassy about her death wishes beforehand ? i was thinking that if you did not leave prior instructions, would the body be returned to native country ? at great expense for family,

I got a 2 month visa from Aust, and plan to go overland to Laos via ubon in the 1st two weeks, I know I will only get 2 more weeks upon re-entry, so I will void my 2 month visa,this is the way around it
