  1. I'm on the one year extensions again. My extension is due on Aug 5 2025. I leave to Canada for a month returning Aug 2nd. I'm not sure they will accept my extension application a day before my visa expires. Or will they? I'll have to go to Rayong immigration and see. The easiest thing to do is just extend it for 2 months then apply for my extension then. I have everything I need for my extension but just not sure how immigration will feel about it if I come in a day before it expires. It's kind of bad planning on my behalf. I booked my trip without thinking about when my extension is due.
  2. I'm needing to extend my 1 year Non Imm O Visa (based on Marriage) for 2 months. I've Never done it before so I'm eligible to get it on my current visa. As I understand your able to get one only 1 time per visa. What documents do I need? Visa Extension form, passport and passport photos? Anything else? How much does it cost? Thanks for any info!
  3. I'm going to Canada in 2 weeks and need a Thai IDP. I have all the qualifications to get it but do you really need a Medical Certificate? I have a pink card and yellow book will that work for confirming my address? Also I've renewed my passport so my passport info has changed on my pink card and yellow book. Will that be an issue? Maybe I better go to immigration to get the house registration form to be safe?
  4. They need a new office. The one they have now is way to small. I wonder where it will be. Lots of construction in the area.
  5. Sorry, I thought it was A negative not O negative. So, I'm out.
  6. I'm A negative. 47 years old. I donate often in Rayong. I'm actually due to donate again. The problem is I can't get to Bangkok but if there is a way I can donate in Rayong I'll be happy to. Let me know!
  7. Non Imm. O Visa Run (based on marriage) May 2024 Update: Savannaket Consulate Visa run complete! Here is the latest info. Documents Needed: Filled in application form ( https://savannakhet.thaiembassy.org/th/page/104405-visa-application-form?menu=5d84a44c15e39c26b4004545 ) Two passport photos Original passport Copy of your passport Copy of your Laos visa Copy of your Thai spouse's passport (if applicable) Copy of your spouse's Thai ID card Copy of your Thai spouse's Tabian Baan (Blue house registration book) Copy of your marriage certificate Kor Ror 2 document Letter from your Thai Bank confirming the 400,000 baht balance (for 1 year multi-entry visa) Copy of your updated bank book showing over 400,000 baht + original book (for 1 year multi-entry visa) Copy of your Yellow House Registration book (if you have one) Copy of your Pink Thai ID Card (if you have one) If you have Children with your Thai spouse (if applicable): Copy of your child's passport Copy of your child's Thai ID card Copy of your child's Thai Tabian Baan page (Blue house registration book) Copy of your child's birth certificate **Your Spouse and Children don't need to be present for your visa application** Show Original Documents: Marriage certificate Child's birth certificate Original Thai Bank Book (for 1 year multi-entry visa) Visa Fees: Non-O 3 months: 2,000 baht Non-O 1 year multi-entry: 5,000 baht Be prepared to wait! The consulate can get very busy. I arrived at 8:30 am and waited for 5 hours. There were a large number of people from Thai visa agencies, along with regular walk-in applicants, which created a long line. I received a pickup queue number 258, and there were still many people behind me. The actual processing at the window only took about a minute. You might get lucky and encounter a shorter wait time if you visit on a day when there aren't any large groups from Thai visa agencies applying. Money Requirements: I had over 400,000 baht in my account for 10 days. The consulate offered me a 1-year multi-entry visa based on my bank statements, but I chose the 3-month Non-O visa instead. In a few months I'll apply for the 1-year extension in Thailand. Several people in line applied for the 1-year multi-entry visa but were only granted the 3-month Non-O visa because they lacked bank statements. This confirms that you can obtain the 3-month Non-O visa without showing any bank documents, but bank statements are required for the 1-year multi-entry option. This can change anytime but for the time being this seems to be the rules. I hope this helps!!

  9. Okay, looks like I need to be extra prepared this year. Bringing a couple of extra documents just in case, plus anything else I can think of. Last year's process was smooth, but who knows what they'll require this time. I'll be in Savannakhet on Tuesday and will update you on how it goes. Planning to apply for a 3-month Non-Imm O (marriage) visa, then extend it to a year in Thailand later. I think this is easier.
  10. Regarding the application + documents for this year, is it necessary to submit two copies of all documents, or is one copy sufficient?
  11. If you have a 1 year multi-entry you have to leave the country every 90days and you can only extend it one time. So you will have 1 year plus the 2 month extension. As far as leaving the country. I stayed at least one night outside of Thailand before returning. Some people have said they have crossed the border and back to Thailand the same day without issue but others have had problems. I just avoided any problems and stayed a night. I hope this helps!
  12. How long does the 400k have to be in the bank for? 2 months? or as long as you have 400k in the bank they are happy?
  13. Im going in the next few weeks. I'll report and let people know the situation! Thanks so much for your help.
  14. This is my situation, I currently have over 400,000 baht in my bank account, but it hasn't been there for two consecutive months. I'm unsure now if Savannakhet requires the funds to be in the account for two months to qualify for a 1 year visa. A shorter holding period, like 3 days, wouldn't be a problem. However, if they do require two months, then applying for a 90-day visa with a one-year renewal in Thailand seems like a better option. Since I travel frequently, a direct one-year renewal isn't needed. Plus I hate leaving 400k in the bank for 2 month not being able to use it! Just double-checking about the 90-day marriage visa (Non-O). Do I really not need to show any money to get it? or at least not 400k in the bank for 2 months? I just don't want to travel all the way up there and find out i need to show it. haha.
