Back to my comment about coming visa exempt would you need a return ticket to enter?
-
I thought could convert to Non O at local immigration from visa exempt entry. Am I wrong?
Would seem easier

Worth it for my aged bladder ????

Wife and child no need visa. Aus you will.
Danang easy to find accomodation Agoda Air Bnb etc.
Big Bhudda on way to Intercon hotel - watch the monkeys.
Bana hills resort for a day trip.
Marble mountain in DaNang.
Beaches and Hoi An.
Depend on family interests maybe a beach resort on the way DaNang to Hoi An
Even Taxi or Grab / Gojet not expensive.
Small street cafes for eating.
Enjoy

Hey
Good advice.
Also try Gojek as option to Grab.
Grab and Gojek are much higher priced at peak hour and when raining.
If possible get a benchmark taxt price as well.

Hi. I am just doing a variation on this I was about to get local health insurance via PP when I decided to look at which had international travel also.
Found a couple but was unsure of covid so asked.
The response from Pacific Prime was
"Insurers treat covid19 as a usual medical condition".
Is it so and thus do we need covid insurance?

Umm, it wasn't "natural" ..it was mismanagement by that silly woman, sister of corrupt boy at the time. BTW, back then diverting the water to rivers east and west of Bangers was to keep Paragon open for the hi-so's IMO ..and yep they'll do it again.
I thought she inherited it from Abasit as was short time after he left. Water was on the way.
Regardless seems that there is no real attempt to manage until disaster control is needed

I understood this query and I have another in the same ilk.
My extension to stay from Non O retirement expires on 22 Feb.
If i leave and get multiple entry permit will that all expire on 22 Feb?
I need go to Vietnam for a few months to liquidate a company and am unsure can be back by 22 Feb.
Any options please?

Is there any "official" opinion on this from the manufacturers?
Has anyone seen any quote from AZ or Pfizer in regard to changes of liability?

Am getting my first Pfizer tomorrow in Bueng Kan from the expatvac registration.
Was notified by phone on Saturday.
Will update after.
Does anyone know the time gap to second shot?
Thanks

My local hospital Bung Khla will give me an AZ on 30th through family friend.
They originally said Sinovac and I said no
As I still had no response despite confirmed registration on the expatvac site, i will go ahead with AZ

Hi
Does anyone know if Sinovac and AZ mix is accepted in Asia and Australia?
Seems the only combination I can get locally????
I am due to return to HCM working soon and later next year to Australia.
Thanks Greg

Hi
How do you access the information on the expatvac site?
I just keep getting put into the registration part.
Would like to see these facts everyone refers to.
I also registered on 1 Aug but have heard nothing

Thank you again.
If I have to return to Vietnam I expect it will be around 6 months (inc 21 day hcmc quarantine).
My worst case is to finalise liquodation by Tet 2020 which is 8 months away.
If I get a one year extension multiple entry will that still cover me?

Hi Joe
I have the 1 year multiple entry as I expected to travel, however the destinations have become very complex and will take longer to be able to go.
Current negotiations with the VN shareholders may mean I need go back but had been hoping for a rational vaccine strategy in either place first.
I did not realise that the one year had 90 day increments but thought that at 90 days the local office could stamp and extend for me up to a year even without trips.
Regarding the 800K I had it since 2013 ready but then went to Myanmar and Vietnam so is OK for me to use it for what I intended all that time ago.
I will follow your guidance and go to Bueng Gan tomorrow and get 60 days first after which depending on direction can take the next step.
And I guess I need a TM47 report while I am there?
Many thanks and best regards
Greg

Hi all
Australian - arrived from Vietnam (been working for 7 years),have a Thai wife and child been in and out for 20 years.
To enter with COE and do quarantine etc. I got a Non O multi entry visa to visit family from HCMC Thai embassy.
All done very professionally and worked well.
Quarantined 15 days at courtyard hotel - was fine - boring, as it was for all under quarantine I am sure.
Now the issue - this is the first time ever been here more than a month and the passport was stamped on arrival for 90 days which expires next week.
I am 50 Km from Bueng Gan which has an immigration office but would like to know what are my requirements for renewing the stamp.
I am considering a retirement extension but only opened a fixed deposit with 800K one month ago and may need go back to HCM in the next two months so thought I would do the retirement after that.
Can someone please advise what to ask for at immigration.
Regards and thanks

Can they ask for DNA as well as alcohol test with the blood.
Just in case there may be an "accidental" mixup with some other non polluted blood.
