I have noticed the western male and Thai woman offspring normally lose a lot of the Thai features. In my wifes' villiage one of her cousins has a half Farang child, a lot of the women tease it calling it Farang Farang and laughing, it isnt meant to be degrading for the child ( I hope not cause my wife does it too).

Here at home you can allways tell if the child is a product of the current Farang/Thai marriage by it's features.

Havn't really taken much notice of the western woman Thai man offspring.

It's a horrible thought losing the wifes' best friend, the eyes water just thinking about it. My advice buy a chastity belt and keep a stiff upper lip and dont sleep.

He comes over on the 28th so it all starts for him. I have never met his father and my wife doesn't communicate with him at all but my guess is he sees it as a good option for Totos' future. He has been extremely cooperative in getting the never ending amount of paperwork required and has even been to Bangkok twice to the Embassy with him so that was great. My Wife can't understand the fact that my ex and I communicate about my youngest son, she gets a bit moody when I get the odd phone call but things here are a lot easier if things can remain ammicable and it's better for the kids.

I live in Adelaide so I only have international 2 direct flight choices out of Oz, Singapore and Malaysian and obviously connecting flights are required to get to Bkk.

Malaysian stop KL on the way over and you have to spend the night there, the last time I was at the hotel Equatorial (a million miles from anywhere)spent a couple of hours waiting for ride to the hotel got there at midnight and up early next morning for connection, waste of a day really.

Singapore are good but just a bit exxy at the moment, service is great.

Quaintass are to expensive now both in both domestic and overseas routes, the service I got last time was terrible(one beer in 1200 miles and had to ask for that)

Virgin to Melbourne and Thai diect to Bkk is the cheapest option right now, Virgin are great, good staff really like their jobs and it shows.
