  1. I got a new passport a couple of months ago. I used Maneerat to transfer details from old to new passport. Immigration 'kindly' did a 90day report at the same time, which actually wasn't due for about another month. I received an email re. the old reporting date - which I ignored - then applied online on the correct date using the new passport number. I fully expected a rejection, but lo and behold it was successful. Next one is due in the next week or so - fingers crossed.
  2. I've used Key Visa twice now to renew my UK passport. They are adjacent to Big-C South Pattaya on the side (road at the top) that can be accessed via South Pattaya Road or Sukhumvit Road. They charge 12,500bht and do everything for you. Just take your existing passport and 2 photos. You'll get emails from the courier companies with tracking details all the way through the process. Takes around 4-6 weeks. Key Visa will call you when they've got your new passport and then you just go along and collect it. Very easy.
  3. I got a new passport a couple of months ago and when I updated it at Immigration they 'kindly' did a 90day report at the same time. Next time I did it online it was successful.
  4. The online is hit and miss. I do a max. of 3 before I give up and go to Immigration. A couple of times, the 3rd attempt has proved successful even with all the same info. Worth a go if you have time.

Does anyone know of a computer technician/repair guy in Pattaya that charges reasonable prices - and most importantly - will do home visits ?? Basically, a guy that knows his way around PCs. Software issues - perhaps like updating to Windows 11 or extending Windows 10 etc. Thanks.
  10. A guy that knows his way around PCs. Software issues - perhaps like updating to Windows 11 or extending Windows 10. He might say "this PC's old, get me a new one up and running". Stuff like that.
  11. A friend who is not at all au fait with technology requires help with Windows 10/11, MS Teams etc etc.
  12. This is Pattaya related but primarily concerns computers. Does anyone know of a computer repair guy in Pattaya that charges reasonable prices - and most importantly - will do home visits ?? Thanks.
  13. Nationwide charges £15 for a SWIFT transfer (regardless of the amount sent). Did it a couple of days ago.
  14. Directly opposite the post office on Soi Post Office (13/2) is a stand which sells wrapping paper etc. plus I believe local & foreign newspapers.
  15. It's good to have an early morning giggle. Best to get the 90-day online working properly first THEN go for the big time !!
