At least once a day and sometimes at the wrong moment.....like I crap in my pants on the way to the local toilet.....have it timed....have 1 minute and 43 seconds after the first feelings to find a spot or else it is my undies that will be doing the wiping....????

Short ferry ride from Cebu??  I must have take the wrong one....seemed like days at sea and an arrival time in Dumagueta in the dark.....once that was over, enjoyed my stay in the city.....pretty laid back and with a good vibe.....????

As with everything, your mileage will differ.....just depends on what you can stand and for how long?  Corruption, crime, traffic, etc., it can be a pure shi* storm even in the quiet spots in the road....carry on soldier....????

For the same reason I never had a rear view mirror in my car....I never look back.....and by the way, the grass IS greener, just have to keep your eyes open and mouth shut....easy peasy...????

Having spent the last few years enjoy VN have to say I always give HCMC a big miss.....far too busy and rough around the edges...prefer. The more quiet areas around Hanoi....found prices to be a bit cheaper than LOS and the people more to my liking....but having said that your mileage will vary.....????

Hope everyone enjoys a quiet one and stays well clear of the local roads and sidewalks.....some crazy folks out and about as usual...????????????

I was in a similar situation this month...after 14+years in LOS, got tired of all the BS and jumping through the hoops, just went to the bank and loaded up my suitcase and headed to Suvarnabhumi.....easy peasy.....just like when I arrived so many years ago....????????. Never looked back or shed a tear......????????

Of all the places I would rather not be....Bali Hai comes near the top of the list......????

You know all those misfits you see on a daily basis stumbling along Beach Road and hope you never see them again?  Well, be prepared my friend, all the crazies will be out and about on the night of New Year's Eve.....best crawl under your bed and hope for the best....my LEAST favorite time of the year....Songkran might be in my top two? ????????

I for one relish the idea that I do not have to put up with all the bullshi* and jumping through hoops while living in LOS.....did my best to put up with all the crap from year to year....after 15 years finally got smart and pulled the trigger.....and was happy the door did not slam me in the arse as I left Suvarnabhumi Airport.....????

Maybe a trip to Suvarnabhumi Airport and catch a flight back home....just for fun....????

I moved to LOS at the end of 2004 with one suitcase to my name...and that folks was the beginning of the end....????

I am still in shock that anyone still eats that crap food......????

I left Lieland a few weeks back flying from BKK to Seoul....flew Business Class so was able to take an extra bag of goodies....lucky for me it all went according to plan.....and the good news is that I did not let the door slam me in the arse....it was all good....????????

Wow, just more hoop jumping in the works....although this one makes a bit of sense....at least for the moment.....rock on...????
