  1. Just a follow-up to my last story with regard to my extention of stay adventure a few days back....went back yesterday to get my passport and re-up for a multiple re-entry permit.....was told that 10 am would be a good time.....passport was ready and waiting at the 9:30 am hour....off to get copies for my re-entry permit, just as I picked up number 211, my number was called at window 2, waited for a few minutes and BINGO, out the door I go with passport in hand....simple, easy and not complicated from start to the finish line.....kudos to all at the Jomtien Immigration Office and to all those farang who will show up on another day and time....???????

Did no one get hit up for a fine regarding the TM30 requirement?

Jomtien did me out of a couple thousand baht last year when I went to renew my retirement extension.

No, because I always report back even when I leave LOS for a day.....just take the worry out of the equation by doing it......??

  3. Well, once again time to make the journey down to Soi 5 to the Royal Thai Immigration Office and do the extention of stay paper trail.....once again got there early and a low number...woo, woo....as has been the case the last 13+ times I have done the dance they told me that I was missing some paperwork copies....darn...even had the folks next door check it over before heading next door to get in line....still a few pages short.....?????? Oh well, just part of the dance I suppose....just wonder were they store all the paper stuff?

No complaints from my end once again....easy in and out and back tomorrow to pick up my passport and apply for my multi-entry permit and Bob's your Uncle....????

  4. I would have loved to be the fly on the wall with a meeting of some expats.....just some old farts bitching and moaning......lol...???

I probably would have fit right in....like the flavor of the day....?

My my main complaint...at the moment....LOS is just too damn far away....7,526 Miles as the crow flies....and the 13+ flying time to the West Coast gets harder by the year....and than you have to do a rebound  back this way.....??

  5. You now have a great opportunity to do some home cleaning of unused household items.....the Rotary Club of Pattaya has placed several green donation boxes for used household items at the Robin Hood Tavern located on the 2nd Floor of the Avenue Shopping Complex on 2nd Road and at Fraser's Pub in Jomtien as well as Murphy's Law on Soi LK Metro.   All donations are collected on a weekly basis at each location by the Hand to Hand Foundation and given a good home for the less fortunate in and around Pattaya.  Any and all items can and wil be used....clothes, dishes, pot and pans, blankets, toys, etc. etc. ????????

  6. The Rotary Club of Pattaya is bringing Frank Bruno to Pattaya for a meet and greet and buffet dinner on the 19th of January at the Robin Hood Tavern located on the second floor of the Avenue Shopping Complex on 2nd Road.

Those who have seen Frank in the past know that he very entertaining and has some great stories about his days in and out of the ring.

Tickets are selling fast so do not miss out on this event in Pattaya.....????

  7. The best exercise I can tell you is to do "table push-ups".....each time you get to the table push yourself away....????

And forget the hours in the gym....it is not how long your are there, it is what you do when you are there...less talk and more work.....it is not social hour like most of the expats I see in the gyms around Pattaya.....lol....and good luck and keep up the good work.....never easy and not all that fun, but you have a goal so stick to it....???
