Why would anyone in Britain care about problems British pensioners have in Thailand?
I'm sure there have been problems for pensioners retired in other countries, but, I've never read, seen, or heard about them.
Worth a try I s'pose, but, it's a real long-shot.
If a piece in the SUN could be linked to loss of "Thai Income" in some way I am sure it would get some attention from the Thai authorities. Something like "Put your retirement plans for Thailand on hold, better check out the Philippines instead, where the time deposit is USD 10,000 and not the USD 24,468 required for Thailand. It does not need to be too factually correct, just interest grabbing!

Not that surprising from a department whose Secretary of State is not sure whether his wife is Japanese or Chinese!

To still be on the payroll Gen Prawit Wongsuwan most certainly knows where the bodies are buried. What other reason could there be for this fossil still being around?

Is there a" Samsung TV Service Center" and/ or a call out service in Chiang Mai ?
Screen problems with a 3 year old set that might be fixable rather than buying a new one I think.
Many thanks.

With a Priority Lane Form what is/ was the process for using it for an annual extension.
Like role up at 10:00 am, show it and go straight to the front of the queue.

" All experts unanimously agreed: Phuan’s niece gave the right answer. "
Are you sure about that, surely you need to set up a committee to exam the evidence in detail, possibly a trip to the US to check the facts first, please don't rush into this.

That's what I thought when we went two weeks ago. Front page was fine, the second page was not correct, I told the officer we had downloaded the previous day then the officer simply asked us to fill in and sign spare correct 2nd page copies he had on the desk to which he added the photos.
Maybe website updated by now.
Presumably that site has the TM7 that the rest of Thai Immigration uses and not the Special one that CM IO uses ?

Going in Wednesday for the Marriage extension.
All papers to the agent today reviewed with Map required.
(Map: A specific type and rendering that I left to the agent to
produce.)
A CM specific TM7 this year required a redo as I relied
on 2017 form and did not have the current CM specific form.
Also: Bank letter and passbook update done but this year they requested
a Bank Statement of activity in the account covering a two month period.
First time in 14 years for that one. The details and forms from year to year always seem to have some change. Most often there will be no published information in this regard. Heads-up if you are doing this visa process on your own.
Off Topic: Current visa assist offices pricing for the marriage extension is markedly higher than last year. Not to mention names, I was quoted 8,500bt, 7,900bt respectively by two of the most popular companies.
The old G4 office, now gone from Promenada is now, Best Friend Visa.
Tip: Check there rate would be my suggestion. Regards to all.
Regarding the CM specific TM7.
Would some kind soul please point me at a copy of this "new" form, many thanks.

So in 10 plus days (by the end of this month) he is going to get rid of 7000 overstays, that's 700 a day by my reckoning. No wonder he appears to be awake at all hours!
