  1. If you don't speak any Thai at all, you can always point, but half the brilliance of Thai food is in how it's eaten - what spices to add, sauces to dip, etc. Watch those around you.

    Have fun.

LOL thais aren't gourmet, they add anything they see available to their dishes making them too salty, sweet or spicy.

Only listen to what your brains tell you to add AFTER you tried the dish.

  2. It all depends on the water pump you have(power consumption), do you really need to pump water during a power outage?

If you plan to take a hot shower during a power outage , these generators won't be enough, you need to have a look at 6KW and preferably diesel generators.

  3. i have the same opinion as mat(blueIT) regarding car rental(only deal with internationnal companies avis etc...).

one of my friend rented a car in samui in nathon and ended up at the police station, this is quite an incredible story :

car was fine and contract was signed between him and the owner(a thai lady), gasoline quantity wasn't written on the contract and the rent was from 8PM to 8PM three days later.

he brought the car at 10AM(so 10 hours earlier than expected by the owner) BUT the owner complained about gas missing while gas quantity wasn't mentioned in the agreement they signed and she refused to give him back his ID/passport.

he promptly went to the police station and talked with a very good english speaking officer(mister naron), wich asked the owner of the car to come to the police station right away, once she arrived, he pulled out a big file about her(many people had the same problem with her) and started to tell her she's damaging the image of thailand by acting like that and that petrol in the tank wasn't written on the contract.

in the end she had to apologize and drive him to the ferry but she refused to shake his hand LOL.

  4. I was starting to think that maybe there was a typo, then I went back and figured it all up again and no... That's what I'm asking for... 45,000 baht... But let me explain...

Even with the prices you have given it still comes up to 41,700. But that's without the power transformer which you can get a cheap one for somewhere between 1000-1500. But this is one of the higher quality ones that run 4000-5000 baht. Bringing me into the 45,000 range.

you can get original "copies" for that price but for original games expect to pay a little more.

Lol Xbox 360 doesn't need power adapter, the units sold here are 220V, and i'm taking about originals game in their new packaging(sealed) but you are right you can buy copies(fake discs) at 100 baht.

You have a lot of very old games in your list, these games can be sold for 200 baht on ebay or not...

15k would be a better offer IF your unit is a Jasper or a xbox slim, if it's a xenon, falcon, opus, zephyr it is worth nothing cause they get RROD(especially xenon).

  5. Lol i felt of my chair, are you serious?

new games are at most 1600 baht in thailand(originals) but most of them are below 1000 baht, a new xbox 360 with kinnect is 11200 , 3 extra controllers 4500 baht.

you are selling your stuff even more expensive than new.....
