  1. Max: Chief, its the old Ombudsmen finding the loop hole trick again. How do we get out of this now? Chief: <lowering the cone of silence> Dissolve MFP Max. Apologies to Get Smart.
  2. The ball tampering saga in SA was absolutely disgraceful. I remember waking up and feeling physically sick when I read about it. I doubt there is one Aussie sporting fan who was not disgusted, angry and saddened by the whole affair. The ACB handed out severe punishment but even so a fair proportion of these same sporting fans wanted blood and called for life bans such was the shame and anger. The players involved will never regain the trust from the fans and I believe the fans will never live down the shame that this has brought on our country. However, like an ex-criminal, they have served their time and while there is still a bitter taste left in our mouths, they are playing for Australia and we support them. Don’t ever think that we are trying to cover up this blatant cheating because we can’t and we won’t. We are scarred for life on this and have to take our medicine. In this context, while we can handle the abuse about being cheats (because we were in this regard) and despite our admission of guilt and the unprecedented action taken on the perpetrators, the hard thing for us to swallow is the continual hypocrisy from other countries who have done and admitted the same (and not necessarily limited to ball tampering) but managed in various ways to either get away with it or cop minor punishment. Stones and glass houses and all that. I am truly looking forward to the 5th test later this week. I hope we go 3-1 but either way I will enjoy the battle that keeps on keeping on between these two great cricketing nations.
  3. Old Wan hey. Picked for his vast experience.
  4. Technically not following the kings advice in this regard could be considered a breach of 112.
  5. Step 1: Disband MFP; Step 2: PT, BJT and PP form a new coalition and put the Toadster up for the PM job (PT: sorry folks we tried everything but had no choice but look, its not all bad, we are still part of the government and will help you), Step 3: Senate approves Toad, Step 4: Tony is allowed home and babadabing thats all folks. Their ability to plan, manoeuvre, manipulate and deceive to achieve this outcome is astonishing. Fear and greed are truly powerful drivers.
  6. I hear you Toolong. This was hatched and sanctioned in the darkened back corridors of gold guilded citadels, negotiated via zoom and various face to face clandistine meetings in foreign countries to be finally initiated at the Leicester football match in the UK at the end of May. Tony has two wants: to be part of the elite and to come home. The elite has one; to remain in power. Both have sold their souls to satisfy their greed. For Tony, PT were nothing but a vehicle and are expendable as are the PT minions and his family. For the elite, Tony is the vehicle for them and is also expendable after they get what they want. Part of the deal will be for Tony to retire and stay out of politics when he gets home. I also hope the progressive media will keep this utterly dispicable travisty alive in exposing these tyrants for what they are. What I fear most though with this unholy alliance, is the installation of strengthened mechanisms to prevent domocrtaic parties from ever governing again. This is where the progressive media plays a vital role and must be vigilant to continually expose the wrong-doing and encourage the populace to step up to block such moves.
  7. I like that they are putting these bodies under pressure with such cases. Bombard them with lawsuits. Probably won't get a desired result but just the fact that they have to continually squirm and plot their deceit while being exposed to the electorate is somewhat satisfying.
  8. On the contrary. I think he knows the game very, very well. It's just difficult to play when know one else follows the rules including his own team (as in coalition) members.
  9. If one thing he has at least exposed the whole system for what it is (an absolute fraud) and stoked the fire for change. I am sad he will not get the opportunity this time but absolutely loving the fact he is making them squirm and bristle. I think dropping the various bills for reform and the 272 senate was a master stroke to further stoke the fires.
  10. Correct. My wife has been travelling to Aus for holidays with me for over 20 odd years. The 8503 condition was applied to her 1 year tourist visas for the first 4 or 5 trips. Then all of a sudden she got a 3 year tourist visa (ME) with no 8503 the same for the last few subsequent visas. No idea why but we're not complaining. Applying in Aus means that she must also be in Aus when the visa is granted so trips need to be coordinated wirth Aus Imm.
  11. I fear that he and MFP are done for no matter what happens. The elite have had a nasty shock which they dont want repeated. Even if there is a reincarnation of MFP in the future the mechanisms for preventing a repeat of this election result in the next will be firmly put in place over the next 4 years either by a military government brought about by coup or by the coalition (without MFP) through an unholy alliance with the dark side. I hope I am wrong.
  12. They are awake. But while there is still some voting to go I think its wise to remain calm for now.
  13. I think this was the plan all along. The PT defection to the darker side will follow the dissolution of the MFP and inability for the coalition to form goverment. This will be masked by PT to their masses as a positive no choice move to enable them to remain in government so that they will be in a position to 'influence the old elite to return true democracy to Thailand and then transition them to a modern government for the people by the people'. Tony will be endorsed by Prawit to head the transformation and will spruke this as a new order of bipartisanship to end once and for all the ongoing political conflict. Simply put: Elite hold onto power, Tony gets home and the people are blindsided once again. Utterly descpicable.
  14. I reckon she knows that from the colour clothes she is wearing.
  15. 199 abstained. Grow some nuts you complete and utter flogs.
  16. He said that he advised the NACC and EC of the shares and both said 'no worries'. Now what form that the 'no worries' given was in would be interesting to know. Was it a formal response in writing or was it a slap on the back verbal over a few beers?
  17. Yeah. So then daddy organised a bunch of people to be at the airport to stage a heors welcome for him. Sickening to watch.
  18. I can hear Pheu Thai's salvitating from here.
  19. Hopefully his vision speech is broadcast to the masses so there is no mistake of what is being proposed. It may not change the minds of the dinosaurs but makes it harder for them to explain a no vote to the people based on the 'he is trying to eradicate the head of state' prefferred narative.
  20. Tough one. So many moods, so many choices. It's late but first cut are: Ride my seesaw - Moody Blues Running on empty - Jackson Browne Hollywood nights - Bob Seger Get it right next time - Gerry Rafferty Brother where you bound - Supertramp Ventura Highway - America Long jumping jeweler - Little Ruver Band River deep mountain high - Tina Turner & Jimmy Barnes version Could go on and on and on but it's late. Great thread by the way.
  21. Set the standard MF and make him resign.
  22. I dont think its the senators we need to worry about. Like the EC they also do not want blood on their hands. Its Pheu Thai that is the dark horse in this race.
