  1. OP, It's not like they are normal women. They are with prostitutes or ex-prostitutes. I could see it as being offensive if it was with a normal woman, but you'll never see it. Just pray you don't have to pay for it when you get older like they do lol!

  2. Go to Google.co.th and search for Nintendo ds. One has a package that comes with the R4+2gb memory card and screen protectors for 5200THB. I'm sure you could find better prices maybe at MBK or Pantip.

  3. It was good. The family had fun until the event was invaded by pattaya and khao san. Most of the families left after they all came. There was a nice aircon room for the kids with different games and face painting and a separate play area for families with a dunk tank and things to play on. Food was decent. Worst i tasted was from Bourbon Street. They shouldn't have the right to say its New Orleans food. I think the big winner was Sunrise Taco's as you could see from the huge crowd it always had. Great taco's and salsa. The grilled burgers and dogs were great too from AMCHAM. I found it funny some of the vendors were brits.

  4. They are probably profiling some of you. I heard they can be really snobby if they think your g/f is from a bar/isaan. I've always had a great and fast experience with them. I can get in just by showing my passport as usual. I've dealt with them over 10 times and they have all been good experiences.

  5. Getting ready to go to the July 4th celebration here in Bangkok(picked up the tickets today!) and was wondering if there were any stores here that carried American flag t-shirts or something similar. Anyone know? TIA.

Baiyoke 2 Tower in the basement level. Too many shops to remember but lots of t-shirt shops and the best prices. ;-/

No American t-shirts there at all but thanks for the info.

  8. Old men in a country like this will always be jealous of something they can never have again. Youth. True youth not youth at heart. Theres a huge difference. I am younger than alot of guys on here(28) but we all get old man. I will tell you honestly that when im 50+ and i see a snot nosed brat such as the way we act. We will both say the exact same things as some of these guys have said out of anger, jealousy, or what have you. Its a cycle. Some of these guys could get any woman they wanted when they were our age, but thier times have changed and our time will change as well. Enjoy it while you can :)

  9. How about they report on the 2 Thai/Farang kids on Sukhumvit rd. I saw them around Asoke. Maybe some of you might have seen them. They try to wash your windows or sell you something while youre waiting at the light. They are maybe 10 years old. Most likely far worse off than this kid. Pretty sure these kids dont even go to school. Anyone know what im talking about?

  10. You can use Rasa tower for 90 day address reports if you live in the Bangkok area. You do not have to do your extension of stay there to use for 90 day address reports.

Correct. Just did mine yesterday. It took about 30 seconds and I was walking out the door. I love that place :)

  11. No containers in Sattahip sea

Head of Silpakorn University's Underwater Archaeogy Division said Friday he can confirm that there are no shipping containers containing human skeletons in the seabed in Chon Buri province.

Imprem Watcharangura, head of the division, said the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) has contacted his division to search the seabed off Sattahip to look for the containers after it has received reports about it from divers. But his team found no containers there.

Mr Imprem also said that fishermen have told the team that they must know if dead bodies were hidden there because fish would have flocked to the area.

He also said that there are people filing complaints about this in the past 20 years, but no evidence was found after diving teams had searched the seabed.

On Friday morning, a diving team of the navy began searching a location there to look for the containers.

Scuba divers claim to have come across a large number of skulls on the seabed during a coral reef adventure dive. They reported the find to the media.

DSI said it would have another look at the site.

  12. 2 injured when yellow-shirted woman crashes her car into protesters

A woman clad in yellow shirt crashed her Toyota Camry into the direction of a group of protesters in front of the Sisao Theves residence of Privy Council President Prem Tinsulanonda Thursday morning, injuring two persons.

Police said the woman sped her car from the First Infantry Division Intersection to the rally site in front of Prem's house at 7:20 am.

Terrified demonstrators ran for their life but the car hit a road sweeper and a protester.

The car quickly let the scene.

The incident caused the demonstrators to become furious and they spread out to hunt for woman.

A group of protesters thought the car had fled inside the Suan Amporn Garden and tried to break in into the compound to capture her but guards insisted the gate was closed and no vehicle had come inside.

Later on, their leaders announced that police had arrested the woman, prompting the protesters to return to the rally site.
