IMO the Americans are not regarded as "friends" by the Lebanese. As agents of the israelis they were enemies.

No way the US, which has been exposed to be 100% on israel's side and not an honest broker, can impose a "friendly" government on Lebanon. The US is IMO too ignorant of M E culture to ever succeed in it's plans. Hezbollah is a Lebanese organisation, a part of the country's fabric, and not like the PLO, which was of a different country. What amazes me is that the so called freedom loving western countries of the world see the destruction of a sovereign country and do nothing effective to oppose the israeli assault on it. Never has the west been exposed for such hypocrisy before. If it were the Russians destroying Lebanon and killing thousands of Lebanese the reaction would be very different.

On that I agree 100%. Of course we won't be prepared as when were we ever prepared for anything important? Every year is a repeat of the same disasters as the year before. Besides, if they were prepared, it would avoid the "need" for vile lockdowns and destruction of economies, and not as much profit in rushing out newtech vaccines that don't work.

Rubbish. A constitutional monarch has no influence on the democratic process which IMO has been well and truly destroyed by the politicians and their fellow travelers anyway. However, by not declining to be king and passing it on to his far more popular son, Charles is probably the most likely reason for Australia becoming a republic if it goes that way.

Not only is it possible, but I have no problem imagining it. It's a repeat of 2016 and we know who lost that time. The similarities are astounding. The only difference is that Harris doesn't wear those ridiculous pants suits, and has not called half the country deplorable, yet. Yes, it's as I've been saying, the fact that Harris isn't miles ahead of Trump in the polls says everything about Harris, and none of it is good. As with HRC, the Dems have shot themselves in the foot, IMO. Just about anyone else in the Dem's camp would have it in the bag by now. Also, thanks to the Dems use of the Justice system to try and eliminate him by underhand means has made Trump more popular, and the MSM continues to aid Trump by fact checking only him during a debate and editing interviews for Harris's benefit. All of which is exposed in rapid time.

That's a common theory, but I suspect it is put forward as an excuse to explain why the great white explorers failed. If canned food of that era was dangerous there would be loads of examples of such. The most likely reason for murder would be to eat them, IMO. It's not unknown in such situations.
