It has been reported that the bullet exited from his neck. Assuming that is correct, where did it go and who recovered it? Difficult to believe that it was recovered. Slices still advertises on Sophon, the all you can eat for 99 baht. They stopped selling the offer over a year ago. Bait and switch! What can you expect from a place that has horrible crap pizza? Just go get some cardboard and put ketchup on it for a better pizza.

I ate at Crazy Daves one time. The cottage pie was absolutely horrible! I would descibe it as over heated, microwaved, canned dog food with dried out instant mashed potatoes and brown pond slime gravy. Save your money and just buy dog food at Lotus.

If English breakfast was all that was available, I would skip it! Clogged arteries and heart attacks just waiting to happen.

Apex Hotel used to be acceptable. Was there last week and found that variety and quality have declined considerably. Don't think I will be back for a very long time.

Monday all u can eat pasta-4 or 5 dishes. Most had the same pasty sauce and all tasted pretty much alike-not so good and a waste of time! The white sauce pasta was acceptable. Best part of the meal was the micro scoop of some prepacked ice cream

Wed all u can eat Curry night-yuuuuk! One very small serving was all I could eat. Several dishes available. All look alike and tasted similar. Again the micro scoop of ice cream, along with the Tom Ka Gai soup, was the best part .

Coffee is included, but the waiters "forget" and do not ask if you want it.

Cherry's really missed on this. I won't be doing either of these nights again.

Pattaya would be far better off without all of the volunteer police. We only need translators. The gestapo look and actions are really over the top. Simple shirts with translator or assistant is enough. Get "police" off the shirts and get rid of the gestapo uniforms.

I can not understand why everytime there is a discussion about American and now Mexican style foods that some stupid jerk has to bring up Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Mc Donalds, Burger King or whatever fast food. They are just fast food versions and usually do not present themselves as or try to be the original. Some items are tasty and some are not. The point is that they are in a seperate class unto themselves. Why are some people so clueless? There are so many really good restaurants in the US but uneducated predujice prevents some people from opening their minds.

California has great burritos, tacos and other dishes. Mexican Americans make some dishes much tastier than the Mexican originals. Agree about the SF Mission District and they have both the Mexican and Mexican American dishes. After all there are more than 100,000 Mexican in and near SF. For the uneducated, California has just about every kind of available and it is made by and for the people from the associated regions. Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, Mexican, Indian and now Middle East are all available everywhere. Italian has become so interated into America and it has changed in some ways and created its own style. The tomato sauce, sausage and pepperoni are tastier than "original real" Italian. But hey, food in Bangkok has different styles from Chiang Mai, Phuket and Udorn. Northern Italy-Southern Italy-different, maybe not better or worse-get the point.

Mike's has acceptable food, considering that this is Thailand. It certainly could be better but when you just gotta have a burrito, it will do. Raw cabbage just does not belong on a burrito or Mexican plate. Chopped carrots are just wrong in a fresh salsa. Just tell them to leave it out.

Bob's BBQ has a good hamburger FOR Pattaya. A fresh Burger King Whopper is tasty fast food alternative and certainly not the same kind of burger (but it is not trying to be the same).

TAIPEI : A Taiwanese court Tuesday ordered ex-president Chen Shui-bian to be locked up on corruption charges that the former leader has dismissed as a politically-motivated campaign by the China-friendly government.

The decision by the Taipei District Court reversed an earlier ruling and saw the former pro-independence leader sent back to a detention centre outside the capital after spending just over two weeks free pending trial.

It's "Thaksin Cabinet, Don Muang branch", it has nothing to do with Thailand as a country, they can't care less.

OAG to file Thaksin extradition request with UK

(BangkokPost.com) - The Office of the Attorney-General (OAG) will immediately coordinate with the British authority to extradite ousted premier Thaksin Shinawatra to Thailand after the Supreme Court on Tuesday found him guilty in the Ratchadaphisek land deal case and sentenced him to two years imprisonment, according to Attorney-General's Special Litigation Department director-general Seksan Bangsombun.

"The prosecutors will soon make a copy of the court verdict and pass it on to Britain to quickly extradite him," Mr Seksan told reporters.

He said the court’s verdict will be transcribed into English and it will be forwarded to Britain.

However, the amount of time to bring back the former premier to Thailand would depend on the British authorities, not the Attorney-General, he said.

The OAG has formed a working body to work on this matter, he added.
