Better ban everything! This is taking a <deleted> already. Things they ban have nothing to do with corona virus. They just ban for the sake of banning. Like in Makro, you can't buy many items now, why? It becomes idiotic in my opinion.

<deleted> is wrong with some of you "They are lying!"-people? It is like you WANT the numbers be worse ???? It is the climate, stupid. It is protecting us from rapid spreading. The climate was the reason anyway most of you conspiracy theorists moved here in the first place...
I believe in the climate theory as well, as it is obvious. However, Thailand has not been testing more than 700 people day, sometimes they test 300 only. That shows that numbers are much lower that they are in reality. It's simple maths.

I was in Makro Thursday and there was a sign on the door saying masks must be worn but about 50% of people weren't wearing,
May be it's matter of time when they start complying to the rules in Rayong. It's a gradual thing, Someone first, then the rest are the next ????

here in Rayong more people without masks than wearing them
I see. In Pathum Thani where I stay the vast majority is wearing them. You cannot shop at the markets and Macro without a mask now. They are becoming quite strict at the moment.

Thais getting touchy about wearing masks. Looks like a border?
Wow, it turns into China now. Wasn't it easier to give a bloody mask and avoid all this nonsense confrontation? By the way Thai government hasn't officicially said that everyone must wear a mask at the moment. Different provinces and regions make up their own rules right now, which is unfair to tourists who are caught being unprepared for what to come.

I don't understand why everyone has to go to hospital,if only mild symptoms no point in going, all that will happen is you will spread it.
Of course if symptoms escalate then go
It's strange tha every reported case is hospitalized in Thailand. And from what I"ve heard they are given a mix of antiviral medicine that causes serious side effects, like vomiting and lack of appetite.

With 100 cases reported everyday maybe not. It still seems that the spread in tropical countries is somewhat slower than in colder countries. Or there is a limited testing happening in tropical countries.

I believe this is unecessary. Having people wear masks, check their temperatures, use a hand sanitizer and keep social distancing is enough. Filling out a form is a nuisance and a waste of time. Just shut down the trains if you make it that problematic.

Whomever gave the go ahead for that boxing match should be taken to account. Heads should roll for disobeying a direct order from Prayut. The majority of cases stem from that one event. ????
I'm not sure the rule was strictly imposed by that time. It was only a few days after. I might be wrong though.

You can't take announcements seriously at the moment, as the things are changing by hour. It's all just empty words.

Soon, they will be in need of aid. China will be struggling with the new wave soon. And I'm not joking.

It's been said over and over again, that it is impossible to track everyone. So every number of infected people should be multiplied by 10. If a country is not testing properly, then multiply by 20. Then you will have a better picture on the ground.

According to scientists the virus can enter through eyes, therefore masks won't do much. However, if there's an infected person wearing a mask could reduce the spread considerably. As we don't know who is the carrier of the virus, everyone should wear a mask. Fair enough.

There's no doubt about it.

This virus is extremely contagious. No wonder the Chinese covered the dead bodies in bags and cremated them in an instance. There's still a lot of tragedy to unfold with this virus. The countries in Europe will be following Italy's scenario one by one, and then the rest of the world. This virus is something!

Wrong.
No new deaths in Wuhan. Because they locked down the population.
London (and any other city that's not on lockdown, including every city and moo baan in Thailand) is going to be the next Italy.
How coronavirus overwhelmed Italy, with more than 4,000 deaths in one month
Wuhan had almost 3000 deaths. Not now, but before. I'm not wrong. It could be worse and follow the path of Italy.

And on the same thinking the UK would be about 6000, with a slightly smaller population.
At this point in time I know where I would rather be.
London is going to be the next Wuhan in a month.

The situation on the ground tells us otherwise. There are plenty of empty shelves in stores.

And some people still say it's just flu carry on as normal and don't shut anything !!!
Or some people compare it to the road deaths. We have to keep in mind that this virus adds up to the death tall, either caused by the flu or road carnage.

This is the total opposite of what Khun Anutin said. Who should I believe?

You don't need to travel to high risk countries to get the virus. The airport itself is a risky place to get the virus.
