  1. Good afternoon all.   ????

I'm looking for a specialist nut & bolt & screw shop in either Nakhon Phanom or Udon Thani. Sakon Nakhon did have such a shop until recently but unfortunately no longer. Any info re contact phone or email & location will be most appreciated.

I'm chasing more specialised items such as square & hex drive wood screws, carriage bolts & screws.

Thanks all in advance.....     Cheers.....     Mal.

If you don't get any joy here, repost in the DIY forum. @sometimeswoodworker would probably know where to get them and he visits the DIY forum.

    Thanks for that.

  4. Thanks Crossy. I did buy one of those hopeless drill holder things some time back. Bloody waste of money. So now it's going to be a proper pedestal drill.  Cheers.....     Mal.

  5. Afternoon all. Some advice please. I plan on buying a pedestal drill. Bench mount. Any of you purchased one of these recently ?  What brand did you buy ? What power rating ? Are you happy with it ?   Thanks in advance.

  6. Good afternoon all  ????

I'm contemplating purchasing some medication online. International supplier. One of my concerns is the Thai Customs department. I've read of some horrendous stories of Thai Customs impounding & demanding exorbitant fees to release the goods. Does anyone have any first hand experience ? I think regular post would be preferred over courier or freight companies ???  Are all packages inspected or only random ???

    Thanks in advance.

  7. Good morning all  ????

Some assistance please. I've been taking Efoxer for over 15 years, A genuine life saver. With travel restrictions I'm unable to return to Australia to restock. I usually return twice a year to visit family.

So, would appreciate any advice where & cost to purchase here in Thailand. Prefer to purchase online but prepared to travel to BKK if necessary.

    Thanks all in advance.

Quite frankly it is disgusting practice, like cutting your toenails in public.

    Nose hair -  yuck.

Some things need to be done in the privacy of your own home.

Care to share what you feel the difference is between having your hair cut & getting a shave ? Oh ! & for what it's worth, I occasionally have a pedicure & foot massage.

I use online services quite frequently, and find that Kerry is highly efficient and not costly. This industry is driven by service levels and cost to consumer. If costs spiral or service level drops, they lose business. There are many alternatives, albeit not as good as Kerry, but acceptable.. why does the government need to become involved in a purely commercial enterprise?

"why does the government need to become involved"   Why does a dog lick its dick ?

Did you buy a car from him? I googled this phone and found that he has a car sale/rental company. But I don't want to buy a car from him, I need a help with choosing & checking up a car from another dealers. Does he provide such service?

I've read a bit about buying a used car in Thailand and here is the summary:

    - google car owner's phone number to make sure the car was never rented

    - no stamped service record every 10k in service history book = walk away

    - radiator has water instead of coolant = walk away

    - no transmission oil change record every 50k = walk away

    anything else?

No, he took me to other dealers where we inspected their cars. He took my selection to his facility & had it checked over. I still own that car. Have driven it just over 75,000 Km since buying.

Why don't you call or email him & discuss ? With your requirements I'd be buying new.

  11. I can't offer any suggestions as where to purchase a card...but.. Why not make a card on Word & send via email. The fact that you've taken the time & effort to make the card should be very much appreciated by the recipients.
