My gardener is Burmese. He has a Pink ID card that provides ID, but is not a 'Thai ID card'. it doesn't make him Thai in any way.
I am British and have a British passport. I never carry it around with me. I also have a Thai DL which I use as ID for domestic flights, police checkpoints, hotel check ins, etc. It works as an ID, but doesn't make me Thai.
Wow, you have a gardener !

Maybe I'm missing something here, it has happened before. I have my 800,000 baht in Bangkok bank. No cards attached. It's purely for the immigration, extension of stay. Get the required letter in about 5 minutes. My local immigration has never, in 8 years, requested a statement, just my pass book & the bank letter.

Ok. I installed a "T" , behind the cistern, where the water pipe for the toilet exits the wall. I couldn't find any proper bum guns locally where I lived. Used a garden hose, adjustable nozzle. Thai missus & daughters said it worked pretty well. Next trip here to LOS I bought bum gun hand pieces. Job done.

Yes but they want you to explain what the costs are and what it is. That is just the way it is, its their procedure. It sucks (i been there a few times). But ther is nothing you can do about it. Seen plenty of Thais there too. Its just procedure and they have to do it there. Paying storage too bad but these things happen. You can't expect them to work that fast though 6 weeks is a bit long usually its a few weeks.
It's a bit like Stone Henge. No body knows why... it just is !
