No reason for ovverstay? I think some member should think again.

Last month I lost my passport and have to wait more than 3 weeks to get a new passport from the embassey. Overstay 23 days.

My baby was born in Norway last year. My wife is Thai. In april we return to Thailand. I have a Non Imm, but my baby just a 30 day touristvisa. We apply for Thai passport for the baby at the thai embassey, but it will take a while. My wife used to take the baby to cross the border at Nong khai every 30 days to not get overstayed. Last time an officer at Immigration told us that kids below 14 years don't need visa to stay in Thailand. The officer also said that the baby can stay here until 14 years old without pay overstay, deported or any other problem with immigration.

I never heard about this before but, Nong Khai Immigration confirmed.

Yeah The Thai government is doing well when they kill some farang, but where is the moral. A couple of years ago and they maybe still do, the thai government sell heroine to two country in europe. im thinking of buying an old motorbike the problem is it doesnt have paperwork so i cant get tax for it,and it doesnt at the moment have tax. the thai just rides it and pays his roadside fines, is there any way i can re-register the bike so i can get tax?

Don't buy a bike without paper (green book). You cant pay tax and without sticker

they can take your bike. The book don't need your name but you need the book.

Before you can just pay the fine and use the bike. I have a couple of old bikes without paper, I just used them somtimes after dark or weekends when I am sure the lazy cops not work. (Isan) Now the cops stop you everywhere for helmet, licence,sticker etc. If they have a reason to fine you and without paper they will take your bike to the policestation. There is lot of old good bike with paper in Thailand. Or buy two, A cheap good one without paper for "parts" and another cheap broken one with paper. Check one of the websides.
