  1. Hi People,

I would like to find out if Kasikorn bank automatically increase credit card limits and if so what is the time frame of this? I.e. after 3 months, 6 months etc.? Also i would be interested in knowing how much i can expect the limit to be increases by if and when this does happen.

My limit is 120,000 Baht at the moment and i use about 80% of this each month and also pay the full balance off every month too, so in theory Kasikorn should like this and increase my limit at some point, i don't really want to ask for an increase and i'm not too bothered just looking for some info if anyone has had experience with Kasikorn cards before.

By the way i have 2 cards 1 visa and 1 master card and both platinum also both are on same account.

    Thanks very much in advance.

  2. Troops tried to stop a suspicious pickup truck but it managed to get away.

God help them if 2 pick-up trucks came through at one time; or an armoured personnel carrier; or even a couple of Cambodian tanks. Bangkok next stop.

Whatever the Thai Army does, it seems to do badly; the rebels are running riot in the south, and they have access to as many weapons as they can carry from the nearest Army base; helicopters are programmed to fly into mountains etc etc.

Laos and Cambodia could get the whole of the Isaan plateau back within a week or so using a platoon of Young Pioneers armed with slingshots.

  3. Hi All, i am looking for a house or town house to rent that is fully furnished for my family of 4 which consists of myself, wife, 14 month old daughter & 15 year old daughter. I work in Ekkamai and will be for the long term. My budget would be a maximum of 20,000 baht and would be looking for a minimum of 2 bedrooms. If not near On Nut that is not a problem as long as there is transportation to get to ekkamai everyday.

    Thanks in advance

  4. I'm not selling it and I dont need much as i wll only be pawning it for a few days at the most...you see i work here with a good salary but i spent a wee bit too much this month as it was my 3 year old daughters birthday (spoiled her rotten), i have money but i just need an extra few grand or so as i am doing a visa run to Laos on 27th 3 days before i get paid....and i like to enjoy myself for a couple of days in Laos if you get my drift '-)

You are wrong as i have done it a few times myself when i used to live in Pattaya

A few extra grand in Baht I assume. Less than $100? Done it before?

    Living the dream ...

If you cant post a decent answer then why post? I work here with a beautiful 3 year old daughter & wife so yes in fact i am "living the dream". Ya fuc_kin muppet!!!

Cheers mate, that's the kind of info i need!! Much appreciated axllau i will go there tomorrow to see what they will give me. Do you know if they accept electronic items?

  6. Correct me if I am wrong... but I don't think that a non-Thai is allowed to pawn things in Thailand.

You are wrong as i have done it a few times myself when i used to live in Pattaya

  7. You probably wont get much from a pawn shop, why not post the specs in Classifieds and get some offers,I might be interested myself

    lucky you.... lol

my friend, there is no limit on amex cc spending.... it all depends on what you personally can afford to repay MONTHLY.... lol

i used to pay about 450 usd PER MONTH just for the privilege of carrying amex titanium and .... that membership was by invitation only.... lol

you can even charter a private jet to take you and yours to shienghai to watch the new moon festival around july or august next year, if you wish--with your amex gold.... lol good luck to you.... and remember, unlike other credit cards, you need to pay in full at the time of billing.... lol <they might have changed that rule now though....>

Thanks for your post nakachalet but you are talking about a n Amex charge card not a credit card, i am aware of the charge cards but as i say i am after the credit card credit limit. Thanks again.

  10. Does anyone know how much an initial credit limit would be on a thai gold American Express card? I work in Thailand with a work permit, more than 6 months of dipositing money into my thai bank account, a letter from my employer stating that i earn 75,000 baht per month and obviously a valid non-b. I know i will be accepted but would like more info on the Amex Gold i.e. credit limit, hidden fees, also what is the max credit limit i could expect etc. All info would be much appreciated, thanks in advance

  11. Thanks all for your input, i have used this person once before and i got asked a few questions but got through ok. I have just done my visa run with the stamped departure card and visa from cardiff and not one question and probably the easiest visa run i've ever done...i will be using this service again and yes the passport is actually posted to cardiff for the visa and all is well...only 15k for a year non-b too :)

  12. My wife is having a baby anyday now and she really wants to have it in sirikit as its cheap but also very good seemingly because its "the Queens Hospital" just want to know if it is a good hospital to have a baby or not....by the way i am Scottish my wife is Thai and the baby is a girl and she has not had any problems during pregnancy whatsoever also the baby is the right way up or down...its head will come first. thanks in advance

  13. Did the passport come back with a new TM6 departure card with an arrival date stamped on it?

If not that would make the Thai stamps even more questionable.

Yes I got a departure card which was also stamped all looks very proffesional...I know it is illegal but if the thai consulates in laos, cambodia, malaysia etc would issue a 1 year non b then i would do it legally but they dont even though i have a work permit and i would only get 3 months.

  14. Hi all, i sent my passport off to Koh Samui and got a non-b visa issued from Cardiff and my in out stamps are from Buketa in thailand and Bukit Bunga in malaysia, then some stamps from KL....just wondering if anyone has used this same person before and if the visa and immigration stamps are legit as i will have to do a visa run to Cambodia and don't want to get arrested. Your help in this matter would be much appreciated.
