yes as mentioned I did go to Homepro as that is where I got the parts, they didn't have the piping though and I went to 3 stores. Please do tell me where the "many other DIY places" are please. Thank you

  4. Good for you Tony if the passport has been issued.

If it has it makes a mockery of the guidelines and also the experiences of others who have posted on here.

10 days is pretty consistent with recent processing times and I doubt that they would just send everything back unprocessed without contacting you first.

Fingers crossed for you and await the final report with interest smile.png

Cheers mate, can't wait to get it
By the way I did send something from her mother at the last minute which was a blurry photo of her id card with no translation given. I didn't think that would have been enough but maybe I was lucky

  6. I just received an email from DHL for a delivery on 27th at trendy building, and I'm guessing it's my daughters first UK passport. Only sent it off 10 days ago. Proper result. :-D

    Very strange

It has always been VFS that send an email to notify the arrival of the new passport........not a courier.

You either receive an email stating passport ready for collection, or if there is a problem,,"there is a letter for collection"

It was a text I received with a link to DHL site with screenshot attached. It cant be anything else but the passport as I didn't send any original doc's. I was expecting an email asking to provide more info about her mum but I get a delivery notice instead. happy days lol
  7. Thanks, looks like she's not getting a UK passport then :-(

Any reason why you did not submit the documents required from your wife ?

As Prakhonchai Nick said, "don't delay" - I would suggest you email HMPO in Liverpool with a scanned copy of your wife's birth certificate and hope that might do the trick.

she's not being cooperative, she won't give me anything
  8. Ok so I went to Trendy building and sent off the application for my daughters first UK passport without any of the mothers docs, fingers crossed they issue it without any problems.

I was wondering if anyone else that has experienced this and to let me know what i can expect and if they will ask for more info regarding the mother etc.

    Thanks in advance

  9. Hi,

I am looking for recommendations on a family lawyer in Banhkok that wont cost the earth who can help me go through the courts to have my 6 year old daughter legitimised.

    Bit more info......

My daughters mother and I have been separated since September 2012 when she took my daughter to live all over the place (she cant settle down) then she stayed in Phistanulok for about a year, my daughter currently lives with myself and my girlfriend of nearly 3 years and has done since about July as her mother isn't able to take care of her as she is now a tom boy with a lesbian girlfriend. She is now threatening to take my daughter away from me and away from her school back to the arse end of nowhere in Phitsanulok which is going to be very bad for my daughters education and future.

so i need a good lawyer and advice on what my options are, please someone help.

let me know if you need more information

    Thanks in advance

  10. Hi All,

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction?!

I have been separated from the mother of my daughter who's 6 for 3 years, i initially looked after my daughter for 6 months until my ex took her away to Phitsanulok but i did get to see my daughter within that time.

She then came back to BKK at my request so we could be a family again for my daughters sake, this was in March this year but things didn't go t plan and i rented her a new room. This also didn't go according to plan as my ex is an idiot and keeps getting into issues with her "friends" and cant keep a job.

My daughter has been living with myself and my girlfriend of 2 years for about 4-5 months, her mother on Monday called me saying someone is trying to kill her and is in a relationship with a tom who is probably trying to control her etc.

Long story short its a <deleted> up situation and my ex is in no fit state to care for my daughter.

Now as i wasn't married when my daughter was born and we didn't register the birth or me as the father, so in Thai law i am not the legal father which i need to sort out ASAP. I need a family lawyer that can help me legitimise my daughter so i am the legal father according to the law, and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good cost effective lawyer that can help sort this shit out.

    Many Thanks
