A few days of short showers in Koh Phangan, helping to refill the wells and the government supply.
This morning almost one hour of sometimes heavy rain in most of the island.
Probably due to the presence of 600 mt high mountains.

Please do not derail the thread with personal insults. The OP share his legitimate thought on Thailand and China.

I don't think he has pizza, but Chez Marco on Loi Kroh, not far from the Old City, has fantastic Italian food, as does Beccofino's in the Nimmanheiman area, on the other side of town. Actually, I don't really consider pizza to be Italian food -- isn't that more of an American invention, kind of like chicken tikkia masala isn't really Indian food, but is actually something dreamed up in the U.K.
Sorry cannot resist....

I'm ok with that, Transam.
More stability, a bit more noise, a bit less acceleration (turbo). Italian engine (VM) less thirsty. I miss the Isuzu 3000 sometimes.
The automatic gear is fantastic.
The car, being the most expensive, is a bit 'cheap'... If you understand me, too much plastic in the interior. Only 2 airbags.
But TIT...

I'm lucky, my well is just a 45 cement rings (16/18 mt?) And still plenty of water.
But it's only March...

I have the CC in my Chevrolet Trailblazer and, although here in Thailand is usable only on few large and not traffic road, I enjoy it and I find it useful to me

Go out to the Butterfly and Insect Farm (It is near the more commercial Butterfly and Orchid place and the dreaded Monkey show. You can see the whole thing happening there. Buy the owners book. Butterflies of Thailandbu Pisuth Ek-Amnuay. He will give advice on how to go about things. It is a great book and explains with pictures all about butterfly rearing. He will have other simpler books there. The thing is you can see local Butterflies that do well in CM and also see their life stages and food. The hot, wet weather is best for butterflies but I spent a few days photographing around CM in January and had some success.
You can see a number of common species I got pictures of. I have identified most of them.

Love my Ipad because of the hardware, the retina and the IOS 6. The IOS 7 is ugly and more tricky. I'm waiting for a 12" tablet and then I'll give my 64 Gb to my son for videogames.
Happy owner of a Galaxy 4 and a good PC with Win7

As some of you know, I'm a fervid nature lover and photographer. So what I'm going to say could be contradictory and for sure unpopular.
I don't see why spearfishing (without tanks of course) must be so a terrible activity. The damage of a conscious spearfishing is almost inexstent. Especially if compared with the industrial fishing and trawling.
BTW I think in Thailand spearfishing is allowed outside of course the protected areas. (AFAIK
