It is likely covid will be with us indefinitely and we will have to learn to live with after it is under control with revacinations required every year for the most vulnerable. Tourism should resume on a much smaller scale some time next year.
You've forgotten about Influenza?

Yes they are making it sound as if they died from the vaccines, not dying with the vaccines, there is a clear difference.
No vaccines have been tied to the deaths of those who have taken it, it's what it is, but people will hear and see things as they do, self included, just got to sift through it all to get to the bottom of it, the facts, i.e. at the moment, no vaccines have been proven to be associated with the deaths of people taking the vaccines, those who took the vaccine and died shortly thereafter died with the vaccine, not from it.
Hope that makes sense ????
People who died from or with Covid were all registered as Covid deaths, at least in the West. So now you say that we cannot register vaccine death the same way?
You really believe no one died from any of these Covid experimental injections that you cannot seriously call vaccines?

I voted 1, but only because my preferred option ins't available. I believe that, after a sensible deadline, access to services (government, bank, ATM, 7/11, markets) should be denied to unvaccinated people. Under Thailand's current plans this should probably be announced, right now, as of November 1.
So people are given a choice, but would have to send their gardener to get cash from the ATM if they chose to stay unprotected.
Dictator, that's what comes to mind.

A massive infringement of human rights by an increasingly draconian and totalitarian government.
Can you sue for human rights breaches in the human rights court?
I'm not aware of there being mandatory vaccination in Thailand. This sets a dangerous precedent.

2018 was a severe flu year. According to https://www.worldlifeexpectancy.com/thailand-influenza-pneumonia 44549 people died of Influenza and pneumonia. That was 122 mortalities per day. Seemingly that was just part of life then.......

I understand you have a basis for claiming this?

Been searching for these rubbers, the kind that are used to tie down big truck covers. Thai do it a different way I spotted.
Where to buy, anyone? Did Homepro and Global, even Lazada; nothing. But the answer is in Thaivisa as so many times.
Cheers.

IMO there isn't even a descent test for Covid. If the quick test is no good, why should the PCR test be any good. I don't know what multiplying factor is used in Thailand, but in the USA they tend to use amplification factor of 40, advised by the FDA. Check it out. How high must you go for just stating that some bacterial debris in your system is Covid for sure. Then again there is no Covid isolation sample available to support any statements that Covid as such exists. All proof is available on the web. Check it out, do your own research.
Side step; spelling checkers still don't know what Covid is supposed to means. ???

I'm not sure what happens to work permit holders if they test positive.
My guess is that they would send me to a private hospital with a huge bill to pay.
My course of action would be to stay at home and avoid any tests under all circumstances, even if I suspect being infected.
I am actually still registered under Thai healthcare scheme at a hospital, I wonder if they would send me there, would I have a choice in the matter?
In any case, that would be an unnecessary risk, best thing is to just wait it out at home with the occasional trip for food.
Yes, my idea too. Had a cold/flue whatever you want to name it. Going for a PCR test?
Who's so scared to do that? Most probably you end up in the stream that sucks you down into the Covid scene with a lot of trouble for you. Not me, I know my body and besides that Covid is now titled the flue and look at the recent morbidity data. No excess mortality, not more than other years if only minor differences that occur from year to year. Check it out, inform yourself.

It's yo-yoing isn't it? When finally there are decreasing numbers of Cov cases, there is another wave coming with this time again large numbers which I call fear mongering.
In this way there will never come an end to this Peyton Place drama. Please inform yourselves what is going on.

I installed in the UK, just tee'd off the toilet supply, it really woke me up in the winter. ????
Found out later that this was against the UK regs as it connected directly to the mains. Apparently, you need a separate header tank so that there's an air gap to preclude any chance of contamination into the mains. Though if that was actually important, half of Asia would be dead now.
Did I change it? No. It would have lost me the mains pressure and given a poor bum gun. I DID add a non-return valve just in case - within the spirit if not the letter of the regs IMO. So, I was a criminal with a clean bum. ????
To order online, search "hand held bidet" or "shattaf" - Moslems use those for ritual cleansing before prayer, same item different name.
AFAIK there are simple back flow valves available. Just small ones, put it after the T

Thanks to all those who gave informative practical advice. I have no interest in bidets or warm water toilets. IdeallyI would want to install with minimal work, piping, connections and plumbing. Ideally via the same tank where the flush watet is stored and controlled by the stopcock. Is that possible? would a special tank be required? Is it possible to drill a hole in porcelain? Thus I would be most grateful for any information from people who have actually installed a water snake. They were used a lot in the MENA region where I worked too.
You are a real handyman aren't ya.

Jeez, it never ends does it. Typically the ban on alcohol is something to monitor.
People drink alcohol and have fun and round goes the gossip about Covid conspiracies et all. People get a little fresh and might get upset about the restrictions and express they want freedom. OMG, freedom?? that is not the way we elite want it directed; we want slaves.
Closing entertainment venues is a sign of restriction of freedom. Get informed, do your own research.
