Thailand moves further up the ‘Best Countries Heritage’ top 10 rankings
bangon04 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
"rankings compiled by the BAV Group (a unit of global marketing communications company, VMLY&R) and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania based on the perceptions of 78 countries in various metrics assessed from a study of over 17,000 people." probably good that 17000 Americans have little or no concept of Khmer culture, Chinese culture, Japanese consumer culture, Burmese and Laotian immigrant culture, but have a cultural memory of US influence on entertainment venues up to 1975 or later...... -

The Chinese WILL buy. They have plenty of money they wish to park. There are also many middle class HKers who need to have an escape plan but maybe cannot afford the UK yet. All Thailand needs is more Casinos and more Chinatowns to attract them..... their cousins here in Thailand will surely oblige.

Legal for employer to force workers to vaccinate?
bangon04 replied to Trujillo's topic in Chiang Mai
The Government cannot force you to allow any person into your private property. As the legal owner of a bar / restaurant or any other private property, you can decide who enters, unless they have a court warrant. Therefore someone who is not allowed to enter the property cannot carry out working duties, so must be terminated. In some countries you cannot discriminate against certain disabilities, but you might get upset if you are mandated to employ a person with ebola to be a nanny to your kids.....
