  1. I get this too and I appreciate it's infuriatiing, it's coming from the speakers and I'm quite sure it's a TrueVisions issue because I don't get it when I play computer games on it!

I have a Samsung SLIM something-or-other and it's only about 2 yers old and the noise was there as soon as we plugged it into UBC/TrueVisions for the first time!

    Good luck!

  2. I didnt mean my original post to be anything other than informative, it's not a gruesome contest!

I still can't get the image out of my mind!

It's a warning that not only can this happen here but any mum and dad can lose their children in such gruesome circumstances as this - AND HAVE THE PHOTO ON THE INTERNET - SICK!!

  3. I bought two rabbits last week..

They came with a cage which I wan't happy about so I built a hutch for them but it's not suitable...

They keep on sh1tting wet poo and one them is throwing himself to the floor all the time - I understand this is nits so I'm going to take them both to the vets tomorrow to ask about it.

I'm also worried about their hutch, it's painted white in enamel apint an they're licking the sides!!

    What can I do??

I really lov them, so does my son and patner but the'yre becoming a problem :o

I'm really worried because I love them, what can I do??

  4. i prefer Thailand's moderate and cool weather to Germany's year round tropical heat. what i enjoy too is the local infrastructure, e.g. lightning fast internet connection, the discipline which prevails in traffic (no rowdies speeding like on german autobahns), the integrity of government officials is heartwarming and refreshing when compared to the widespread corruption in Europe :o

:D hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahaha love it, spot on.

  5. Well I'm completely lost, I know I had nearly 1GB of free space on my C drive moments before I installed the new messenger and immediately afterwards I had less than 200MB so it was definately messenger that changed things

I already had windirstat installed so I checked things out and knowhere has an extra 600MB compared to the last time I looked.

I had previously turned off my virtual memory to save space so no gains there.

I suppose the only thing to do is remove the new messenger but then that may not get my space back and if I reinstall the new messenger it might try to take up another extra 800MB so buggered if I do, buggered if I don't :o

  6. Thanks for your reply NHJ, I done everything you said but haven't gained any space :o

I can't think of anything else to do or where the space has gone...

I like the new messenger and want to keep it but not if it leaves me with only a small amount of disc space, if I uninstal the new messenger will I get the missing space back or will it just be consumed by mysterious installation files and unremovable components?

Any more ideas would be appreciated :D

  7. This is a fantasy world for many unfortunatly the harsh realty sets in sooner or later

    Thanks for your reply

    You're absolutely right about that!

This guy is not silly, he's very bright actually.

He was talking about some businesses that was not a bad investment in theory, it's just there was no reason for these people here in bkk to offer him the opportunity... I'm mainly interested in peoples thoughts and experiences about business here in Bangkok.

I'm still thinking and talking with him :o

  8. I already live out here and make money but my friend in the UK is saving up lots of money and wants to come here to live, he's going to get an education visa and learn a bit of thai whilst he stays here but is also looking for a business to invest in or even perhaps start his own...

I'm a bit worried about the routes he's going down to find this business and I've tried to explain to him the pitfalls of coming here hoping to do business but it seems my point is not getting across how hard it is to do business over here, especially with no real contacts and I just want some examples of what to do and what not to do when thinking/moving/doing business here is concerned - I think i know them all(or many/most) but the way I'm telling him doesn't seem to have enough gravity... or maybe he understands but is doubting me, any ideas??

  9. All I saw was panic, mostly amongst the 'rescue' workers, have they had training for an emergency?

I even saw one lady laying on the ground with burned legs, moaning and turning her head and one of these workers came up and checked her pulse! Does he really think her pulse has stopped despite the fact that she's moving and making noises!?

An absolute tragedy, and an absolute shambles too.

The aftermath of a large conflaguration is difficult to handle. The nature of injuries runs the full range, from respiratory distress and internal burning of the lungs, to broken limbs and of course severe burns, to emotional trauma. Checking a patient's pulse is the first thing you do. If the blood pressure is low, you will have to start an IV immediately, if not, you can move on to someone else that may have a faint pulse and be close to cardiac arrest or in respiratory collapse. In an event such as this, a subject screaming and writhing in pain may be distressing to an onlooker, but it indicates the patient is conscious. When faced with a patient that is silent and motionless, the nature of injuries will most likely present as a priority.

Large scale events such as this have hundreds of paniced excited onlookers/victims that create a mess at the scene. If you are an EMS worker, you need to work around it and that's what they were trying to do. The event scene had to be first controlled before the EMS could do their job properly and the early videos are taken as fire crews and EMS are arriving and setting up, so please take that into consideration.

I unerstand what you're saying, I'm no expert

I saw a motobike accident last week and immediately onlookers standing nearby ran into the road and practically dragged the injured out of the street...

I saw a couple of simiilar incidents on the vid.

  10. This may have already been mentioned, I can't read through lal of the replies here...

I have to say I'm very sorry about all the dead and injured and I agree with all those who say that precautions could have been made to prevent this tragedy but when the tragedy is actually hapenning why is there complete pandemonium outside? Why are the emergency workers dragging people around and throwing them over their shoulders and running to ambulances and letting ladies heads drop back onto the ground etc etc etc, it seems that whenever there are sirens all of these 'rescue' workers just go crazy and create more panic than there already is???

I didn't see one hose being directed into the building on the 8 minute youtube vid here

  11. I've had some pretty bad luck sending some things to France & Italy recently and I'm worried that their customs officials are a bit eager to take parcels that don't look like they have come from a French or Italian nationals, or simply parcels that come from Asia so I'd like to know how to write, 'gift' in these two languages , I've checked on google translate and have found 2 different suggestions: 'cadeau' & 'don' for French and 'regalo' & 'dono' for Italian..

Can somebody help me write the right thing on these parcels please?
