  1. I've had it since the mid 90s. It was extremely annoying in the beginning, but eventually I got used to it and only hear it when I focus on it. The only thing that really helps is a "hearing aid" that cancels the frequency similar to noise cancelling headphones.

  2. “Almost 100 per cent of sexual assault victims in Krabi knew their attacker beforehand. The encounter usually begins with the victims being friendly [with the attackers] and being willing to drink and hang out with men they do not know well,” he said.

With this statement, it's almost as if he is placing the blame on the victims......sick.gif

That statement is ridiculous and couldn't be farther from the truth! Most rape victims do NOT know their attacker beforehand. After all those pigs don't really aim at getting caught, now do they?!

  3. Wrong on so many levels.

She arrived on the scene soon after. She knew where he was, yet she only felt it was important enough to be a parent and only felt compelled to show up to see his dead body, rather than instead feeling it was important enough to be a parent and to feel compelled to show up to tell him to get his ass back home and finish his homework and go to bed?

Another "There is no crisis or emergency in Thailand until it happens" story.

I'll say it again with sarcasm: These kids don't stand a chance of surviving in this world as long as they have Thai parents and police to "protect" them and to "instill standards and self-discipline" into their dormant and undeveloped consciences.

    Wrong on so many levels!

First of all he's 17. Is she supposed to follow him everywhere like a toddler who just learned walking? Secondly, someone must've called her and told her what happened, that's why she was there. Thirdly, he didn't die.

  4. So pathetic!!! First of all, when you mix any chemicals you definitely keep them out of reach of children. Secondly as soon as you realize that the kid drank some of it, you take it IMMEDIATELY to the nearest hospital. You simply DON'T WAIT and hour and a half until the condition of the kid worsens, especially since the girl wasn't able to throw up!!! I just don't get how people can have a wait-and-see attitude in such a case!!!

  5. Why do they have to get married, can't they live in a defacto relationship, or just live together.

The only thing wrong with a defacto relationship is that it would still not be recognised in the eyes of the law.

In other words if you say on a legal document that you are in a defacto relationship with a same sex partner, ie a stat dec.

I dont believe it would be recognised, if they don't recognise the marrige as of the courts decision.

"Why do they have to get married?"

Hm, let's see. They're probably in love with each other and came to the conclusion that it's time to tie the knot. Heterosexuals have the human right to get married and since homosexuals are just as much human as heterosexuals, they should have the right to get married, too. Who are we to say who's allowed to tie the knot and who isn't?! And who are we to impose such fundamental decisions on them? No one should have that right!!! I think this decision is absolutely pathetic!!!
