  1. Thanks for the tip. I guess I'll forget about finding a chiropractor in Thailand. I think those Thai massages are way better than any chiropractor I've been too.
  2. It's just called medical tourism. It's very popular in the USA because our health care system is so expensive. My sister went to Mexico to have stomach surgery. I plan on going to Thailand to have a lot of dental work done in the future. I'm just looking for a good chiropractor.
  3. Yes, I will get paid because after 20 years of service I have over 100 days of sick leave saved up. I'll be using my sick leave. By the way, when I retire, my job will pay me back for all the unused sick leave I have acquired. You seem to insinuate I'm stilling. This is my money from working for the last 20 years.
  4. Not a bad idea. I'd be willing to pay 1000 baht for a chiropractor to fill out the FMLA forms only because it will take about 30 minutes to fill out the paperwork in English. It's not a bribe though, because I really would like to get chiropractor care and Thai massages to help with my back.
  5. If I do it in the USA, I will need to have treatment weekly in the USA. I've done it before.
  6. In the USA we have FMLA (family medical leave act) which guarantees us 12 weeks off work if we have a doctor's permission. I have a bad back and I need to see a chiropractor once a month. I would like to see a chiropractor in Thailand and also get Thai massages two times per week. Does anybody know a good chiropractor in Pattaya who would take care of me and fill out my FMLA forms so I could spend 12 weeks off work and spend it in Thailand getting my back better?
  7. I'm so sorry to hear that. I only had a 3 week vacation and I was very worried about testing positive and ending up in quarantine for 10 days. Good luck to you. I wish you the best.
  8. Our full-time nail technicians make about $7,000 per month, but yet we can't find enough employees. There is a severe labor shortage in America. If we brought Thai citizens to America, it would only take 2 months to train them. Then they could get their nail tech license. We would pay them the same wage as our current employees.
  9. I just came back to the USA. America only requires an ATK (rapid antigen test) within 24 hours before departure. I got mine in Bangkok. https://bkken.rnmeskin.com/m/clinic2/covid19.php Located at the Hyatt in Sukumvit, near Soi Cowboy. 990 THB. Results in 20 minutes. Just walk-in or make an appointment online. They give you a document (Covid test result) you show at the airport. Very easy.
  10. I just spent 3 weeks in Pattaya and Bangkok. F Covid. I was tested 4 times and came up negative every time even though I was bar hopping without a mask. Stop scaring people. You guys are worse than CNN. Visit Thailand, have fun, and enjoy your life.
  11. My wife really needs about 3 or 4 people to work at her nail salon because there is a shortage of workers in America. There are people in her village who would love to come work for her. How can I help her get visas for Thai citizens to come to the USA to work for her. She'd like the workers to come and work for at least 6 months or longer and we'd be willing to pay all visa and airline expenses. Is it possible to get work or student visas or should I not even waste my time.
