English Bulldog spirit; both Pool and Spurs. Great season.

Indeed. Great English Bulldog spirit from the German and Argentine managers, the Belgian and Brazilian winning goalscorers and the multinational teams of players. Sakes.

Now is the time for UEFA to show their commitment to climate change and move the venue to Wembley.

Did I just say that out loud!!!

It makes every kind of sense. Not to mention that Liverpool and Spurs have been allocated just 16,600 tickets each for a 68,000 capacity stadium. UEFA remain outrageous scumbags.

You need to somehow find a way of playing AA regularly in the team. He is the future of not only Liverpool but England. Far too good to be on the bench.

Difficult decisions for Klopp I’m sure.

Trent has started the big majority of matches this season. 25 appearances, only 2 as sub. England can of course sod off.

Make shift backline, missed VvD from an attacking distribution perspective. Bayern set up to not conceded and did it well,  Mane and Salah missed some chances and were not on it. Hendo was brilliant. Naby is really starting to fire.

Not having Gomez or VvD paired centre back could be our undoing eventually.

We will score at the Allianz, and win.

yeah bob, think we will too, particularly with VVD back and them missing the excellent kimmich. they were very good though, as you'd expect from a team that has been in six of the last seven champions league semi-finals. they are experienced, savvy and know how to get results.

  5. honestly think that steve bruce or mark hughes would be a better qualified interim appointment than solskjaer, but hey ho. his time at cardiff was magnificently rubbish.

not sure this need to "get" the club or be steeped in its history really cuts any mustard any longer either. if that were the case then a phil and gary neville double act would be on the table.

I tend to agree.  He's the obvious choice and tailor made for getting them back to how they used to be.

Woodward needs to get it right this time.  Moyes, van Gaal and Mourinho were all poor choices in their own particular ways but Pochettino ticks all the boxes.

However, i'm still clinging to Nev's theory of a Zidane/Cantona team though!!

i'm still clinging to the hope of a beckham/neville dream team but i don't see it happening really. ????

    555 My bad.

I was thinking more of Terry Henry. Did a good job as Martini's assistant at Belgium, now at Monaco.

seen monaco's results this season? the thierry henry effect has not been a positive one.

united are clearly lining up pochettino and have sacked mourinho now because of the results, transfers and general atmosphere debacle but also because it'll take them 6 months of negotiating and legal wrangling to get pochettino from spurs. would be great if spurs could resist them and if pochettino wanted to remain at spurs but i don't see it happening sadly.

I think he is saying what the fans want to hear. The club needs to get back to basics and get the discipline and attitude back to where it should be at a club of this size and history

oh i agree with him and think he's talked nothing but sense about united and mourinho. he's a united fan and he can see what needs to be done to get his club back on track. fair play to him.

Each to their own. So who is your hate figure going to be now then?

    i don't hate anybody.

the premier league manager bellend quota is definitely being damaged lately though. no more allardyce, hughes, moyes, pardew, pulis, mourinho.

but there's always, always roy hodgson.

Can't see him ever working in the prem again. The big 5 or 6 wouldn't touch him and the rest couldn't afford him or his spending

yeah, as if any big club with serious intentions would go near this busted flush and his absurd histrionics now.

i'll be glad to never have to watch his pathetic self-centred performances in match of the day interviews again to be honest. the premier league is better off without him.

Well its no surprise the Moron has got himself sacked,

you have only got to look at his record of being a 3 season

manager throughout his career, or should I say 2 1/2 season.

His consistency for getting the sack has to be commended, special one my ars....

Pogba will be throwing a party tonight along with Smalling & Jones and Lukaku and Martial (did I miss anyone out ?)

shaw, rashford, bailly, valencia. presumably sanchez. the invisible fred.

I think you have to keep him out of it, move forward come what may, otherwise it could effect the incoming manager. Especially of Ferguson does well. Cycle begins again.

yeah guess that was always the trouble before wasn't it, his shadow looming over it all. well, that and moyes being an incompetent moron of course.

i can't really see why someone like pochettino would want to move to united right now, place is a mess.
