I watched some you tube videos apparently I am supposed to pair  the remote  with the treadmill        It changes some of the functions but will not engage the belt. The chat for the seller is a bot that just spits out the same BS  if they sent me a different remote it would probably work oh well      thanks for the help folks

I just took delivery of the same machine and it works fine.

Plug in and switch on - display lights up.

Hold the remote close to the display and hold down the power button. It beeps several times then stops beeping - took at least 10 seconds of holding down the button.

The belt started at speed 1.0 without me pressing any other button.

Use the + button to increase speed.

    Hope this helps

I'm aware of a case at a very large bank about 30+ years back, the bank had some level of basic computerization.

After an investigation the bank discovered that an employee was skimming 25 satang off every account early morning and once a week or similar.

It had gone undetected for many months, but when investigated the employee was charged and did jail time. 25 satang not even noticed by 99.9% of customers but together quite sizeable total amount.

... and nobody was suspicious when he turned up for work in a new Ferrari.

  3. It's all perfectly lawful and above-board. HM the King (no one else) reduced his sentence from 8 years to 12 months. Therefore he was entitled to parole after 6 months, regardless of his physical condition. And, he is over 70 years of age, therefore (Like all over 70's) too old to need an ankle monitor.

Good luck to any members here who would like to question the decision of His Majesty Maha Vajiralongkorn.

Imagining a Japanese tourist in Scotland in a lift trying to talk to local in Japanese and complaining that they don't respond :cheesy:

The OP is not talking about getting into a conversation with Thais - just acknowledging a greeting.

Also, IME Scots are very friendly and sociable people. I feel sure that if a foreigner of any nationality said "Hi" or "Hello" (even "Herro") they would greeted with a reciprocal smile, or a nod at least (not talking about the infamous 'Glasgow smile').

Can you explain why? You might just save me an unnecessary trip someday.

Darjeeling is an area of India famous for its tea. Assam is another (of many). So the tea from those regions is called Darjeeling tea or Assam tea.

When ordering a cup of tea, one may be asked to select from a variety of teas.

One could say "Darjeeling is not my preference", i.e. not my preferred cup of tea.

The expression (in British parlance) is applied to many situations where there is a choice. For example: I prefer olive skinned girls, white girls are not my cup of tea.

What you got looks good and healthy,

Some times seeds are not good.

I had some dandelion greens seed, form one package not one came out, and from the the other package they sprouted like crazy.  (Dandelion greens are very good boiled and served with olive oil and lemon. very healthy , and full of antioxidants.) No rust on this old boy!

I would start my tomatoes in  seeding soil.  three to each little section, and then choose the best one of the three. once they have their true leaves in the seeding soil, they will have long enough roots to place in your hydroponic system.

Next time I see big tomatoes I'll buy some. If they are tasty I'll take some seeds and see if they will grow in the foam cubes. I will try some in soil too. I used peat moss last time but all failed after they got to the 4-leaf stage - not sure why.

  7. One week on.

Most of the seedlings are looking healthy. Back row far left, and front row 2nd from left looked like they were going to die, but they are slowly recovering.

Unfortunately, only one of the tomato seeds made it (store bought from Home Pro),. All the others are capsicum, straight from the fruit to the foam cubes.

I've put cantaloupe seeds in the 3 empty pots, from a really nice sweet one we had a few days ago. Nothing moving as yet.

    Dead guys roll logs?

No, but they also do not "turn in their graves", which is a common English expression meaning they would be shocked or distressed to hear the news if they were still alive.

    But you knew that anyway.
