It’s been raining for 3 days without stopping.

My wife is in depression, she is standing and looking through the window.

If the rain doesn’t stop tomorrow, I’ll have to let her in.

That reminds me. I went to see my therapist about my depression...

He asked: "What seems to be your problem?"

    I replied: "I hate myself".

He reassured me: "That is a very common complaint ......

..... lots of people hate you".

  2. Maybe someone here has similar personal experience and will help.

I don't have experience, but I understand that you will need a copy of your Thai marriage certificate to get a "no fault" divorce in the UK.

If you have not kept your certificate and your spouse is unwilling to send it to you, you may be able to employ a lawyer to get a copy for you.

I have been very pleased with the help provided by this UK lawyer, who operates in Thailand (on the British Embassy list), in a family law case. He lives in the UK but works for Anglo Thai in Bangkok

Send him an email, giving all the details. He might be able to help.

I had a swig about about 10 years ago attempting to play golf in the winter in the UK (frozen greens)...

It was surprising good, or I was so damn cold it was just so very welcome !!!

I do wonder why someone would want Bells in Thailand... Surely something like JW Red is very similar ?

    1L of Bell's is around 500THB.

    JW Red - 700mL is around 850THB.

I think that explains why Bell's has become popular.

Both are blends and IMO, not much difference in taste. Both okay with ice and a mixer.

Well, yachting is the sport of kings and I rather don't think the landy was too luxurious. Especially the 2A.

I can definitely attest that the Land Rover (in its original, go anywhere, form) was the opposite of luxury.

I thought that the "sport of Kings" was horse racing, but I guess that any ludicrously expensive sport can be considered luxurious in monetary terms.

This is a serious question and Australian people are reminded by adverts in TV and signs in the malls "Don't be a Tosser!

But I'm wondering how many of you especially in beautiful places such as Pattaya where it's hard to find a garbage bin throw your rubbish on the street !!

I'm sick of seeing tossers especially in beautiful areas such as Jomtien

I know every morning there was a volunteer farang who used to pick up after the tosser

There should be "Tosser Council" Rangers like there are in Australia

With Tosser patrol written on the front of their shirts

Look up double entendre. Australia has some famous ones ...

I find dressing in this manner is a rather sad attempt at trying to convey to people that you have a personality.......

James Cleverly is a good example with his bright red socks and dark suit.

    You mean like this guy?

I was spoiled recently when my son-in-law gave me a bottle of Auchentoshan single malt. That can be enjoyed neat like a cordial

A splash of water improves the experience, IMO.

In general at BKK CW, once you get a new passport, they want your next 90 day report to be IN PERSON. And then once you've done that, the future ones can then be done online again.

Last time around I had a new passport last year, I was first rejected for online. Then tried doing a mail-in, and got a response that wasn't acceptable, and was required to go to BKK CW in person.

This was my experience at Pattaya/Jomtien also.
