  1. Don’t fall for it.

People business is big business, there are those making $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ from our personal information.

People who publish intimate and personal details about themselves on facebook, social networking sites and other sites that require they’re data are idiots.

What many fail to understand is, that once this information is online, it`s there forever.

Try putting your email addresses, name, phone numbers or addresses in Google or people search engines? You may been shocked by what information is vomited up about you.

    +1

All the more reason to use a "disposable" email address for casual surfing :)

  2. Can reccommend Sansabai House. 350 - 600 baht depending on the size of room you want. 200 metres walk to the old bus station. Heaps of taxi's and tuk tuks there. Tuk tuk to new bus station should be no more than 50 baht (4km ish).

The reception staff at sansabai will organise a taxi for you if you ask.

Excellent thai resterant two doors down and the best farang bar in town, 3 doors beyond that jap.gif

  3. assuming the fish in the pic is what you were served..... it is fresh from a box and sounds freezer burnt (ie there are much better species available in thailand and elsewhere to have in your fish and chips). they will be sweeter and moist

PS> Blue Cod in bredcrumbs - fied in butter, for tea tonight :whistling: caught at 6pm.... eaten 30 mins later :D

  4. Running a Toshiba netbook 305 with only 1 gig of ram and windows 7 pro.

I would reccomend more ram than this as depending on the program running it sometimes gets slow when the processor has to do some hard work, noticed mainly when using pdf.

1 gig is fine for most day to day use

Windows 7 starter has too many restrictions on it. can not network and the ram limits etc.
