There is some serious nit-picking going on. My first report in the new system was approved. After getting the email reminder, my second report was rejected. I resubmitted with the same information in the same order. The only difference was that the soi was on the first line, after the number and condo name, whereas before it was on the next line before the road. Approved.

That is beyond funny. Maybe they should have given us samples as to how they want it.

It does not work. Tried to use it to pay for a domain name. If the government is going to fix this the way they did the online 90 day reporting then good luck with that. It took them more than 2 years to fix that simple problem. I think this is the end of PayPal.

BTW just to add - how exactly is this going to attract the "digital nomads" they wanted?

Anyway there are serious human rights concerns about all this - it's funny how people like you believe this now, when 2 years ago you would have called it a "conspiracy theory". Myself I knew this might be coming, back in 2017. It concerned me then as much as it does now, but unlike you, I've known about it for several years.

    Well said!

They have not updated their security certificate... give them a day or two.

Thanks for that. Why do they use the free SSL certificates? I see the certificate expired on Sunday already. In any event I will try with Edge next time as I dont want to spend 4 hours doing that 90 day report again.

If they are working without permits then there is obviously a demand for their services.

    Why not give them permits?

Surely improving English standards would be beneficial for Thailand and its economy.

You have a valid point but someone will come with a false equivalence that you need a degree to be a dentist. Its not the same. The Thai teachers teach grammar while the foreigner gets them to use the language. I would not exactly call ESL teaching, especially considering that a 'qualified' English language teacher can be someone with a degree in history. It makes no sense. Actual native speaking teachers with teaching degrees tend to go for the money in Korea, Japan or China or in Thailand at the international schools. If they really want to spend time on improving English standards then they will have to come up with another idea.

In Europe they will tell the customer if they run out of ingredients, they told me last month they didn't have bell peppers/pepperoni, this time they didn't tell me so of course they would have to tell that to the customer, he pays for it..and the pizza costs 100 baht more now than in april. If you think that's fair than that's your problem not mine. I don't accept to get cheated, sure not from american companies owned by an american in thailand.

I have not seen Bell Peppers in a while either. I would say maybe every fifth pizza we have ordered has it and we only order maybe once a month.

What to do when tgf mother comes onto you?

I have no idea as you have listed no ages. Maybe your wife is very young so you and her mother are about the same age? I had a friend who married a young woman at his age as he was older than her parents. He was in his 60's and she was in the early twenties. His mother in law used to call him uncle.
