  1. The owners have got us the best stadium in the country for peanuts.

    Jealous anyone?

And we didn't have to burn anyone's business down to make room for it.

Iv'e heard it all now, a scammer accusing someone of being unscrupulous biggrin.png so how bigger brown envelope do you think you gave to Newham council ?

Bigger than Daniel Levy's? I doubt we are capable of it.

Considering we are the only professional club in Newham and that our old ground is being sold off for redevelopment that the council wants, it makes sense that they would support us.

facepalm.giffacepalm.gif So how many professional clubs are in each of the other Boroughs of London ?

  3. Let's see how long to you Spurs boys bring up the "youngest squad" quote shall we, and yes it gets a.bit dull going on about the age of your squad as it does about others spending.

To be fair BB, you continually go on about your youngsters and thats without them making an impact on the first team so christ knows what you'd be like if they did make an impact whistling.gif

Any going on about our youngsters Alfie, is usually in defence to comments posted by others (funnily enough usually by fans of the youngest squad/team in the history of the world). ;-)

What ? in defence ! if your tea lady is under 25 you'd be on here to tell us, what was the other week under 10's futsal team cheesy.gifcheesy.gif

  8. Beat Sevilla home and away. Played liverpool 3 times. Know which team I'd rather play against.

Not sure why your only talking about Sevilla when

    A. They haven't beaten Dortmond yet.

    B. There are 5 other teams left in the competition.

  9. Sky News are reporting early this morning Thai time that the Man U loss means that Leicester have already qualified for the Champions League. Not true and no doubt it will be corrected when their day editorial team come in. Leicester have guaranteed a top four slot. Not the same thing at all, which teams like Arsenal must be acutely aware of. 4th puts you in that horrible position that the Spurs found themselves in a few years back - replaced by Chelsea.

Only this year there is potential double jeopardy to finishing fourth. If Man City finish outside the top 4, replaced by (say) Man U then a Champions League win by City allows then to barge the 4th place out. If Liverpool win the EUFA Cup (much more likely than a Man City triumph IMO) then I understand the same thing happens.

4th place could be a very uncomfortable position to be in come mid May - albeit better than 5th or 6th! Looks much more likely to be an Arsenal double jeopardy position than that of Leicester Spurs or Man United. Man City are equally as likely to come 4th as Arsemal are but they of course only then have the single worry about Liverpool.

What if City finish outside the top 4, win the CL and Liverpool win the Europa, does that mean both 4th and 3rd spots in the EPL loss out of CL next season?

Dunno. Common sense would say yes since the principle seems to be that none of the other countries should suffer loss of a place (and how would you decide between nations?)

Chances that Man City finish outside top 4 and win the CL and that Liverpool win the Europa are pretty much close to .... well the chance that a team can be bottom of the Premier League in the final quarter of one season and then top in the final quarter of the next season, then winning it!

Total waste of a post, they've changed the rule since that happened, besides City ain't winning the CL and the dippers ain't winning the Europa.

  11. Although i still have 18 months to run on my current passport i thought it would be easier to apply for a new one while i'm in the UK rather than having to apply for a new one in Thailand in a years time.

In the application process they state that i have to send in my current passport so i take it they will somehow cancel my existing passport.

So will using the new passport cause a problem on entering Thailand and what do i do on changing over my existing Visa and Visa extension ?
