  1. Just a bit unlucky that we caught Countinho on a good day laugh.png

Or lucky Harry Kane produced another goal out of nowt wink.png

Why was Kane lucky ? did it take a deflection ? did it hit Mignolet in the <deleted> and go through his legs ? did it hit both post's and go in after hitting a worm casing ?

Or are you saying a goal out of nowt is lucky ? when it wasn't out of nowt anyway facepalm.giffacepalm.giffacepalm.gifbiggrin.pngbiggrin.png

  2. ian britton dies aged 61

I remember seeing him play when we were absolute toilet. Not a bad player though, worked hard and had a turn of foot.

That doesn't really give us a clue in what era he played laugh.png

  3. England squad Euros 2016

    Hart

    Forster

    Heaton

    Clyne

    Walker

    Smalling

    Cahill

    Stones

    Jagielka

    Rose

    Shaw/Berttand.Gibbs

    Dier

    Barkley

    Milner

    Ali

    Henderson

    Lallana

    Sterling/Delph/Drinkwater

    Kane

    Vardy

    Rooney

    Wellbeck

    Sturridge/Walcott.

Only 3 places up for grabs down to injuries

    Strange reddy facepalm.gif you post

Midfield looks very strong Ali ...Dier...Barkley...OX...Walcott.

I'm aghast, you call me bias and then proceed to have only one of the two as a probable facepalm.giffacepalm.gifbiggrin.pngbiggrin.png

  4.

Just watched the highlights. Keeper could have done better with the first German goal. Bad marking with the second. Nice first England goal. Cheeky great second goal then a powerful header.

I thought Dier stood off Toni Kroos too much for the first goal.

Great positives from the game but the central defense looked suspect and i don't think Cahill is really up to the job.  John Stones and Mike Smalling for me.

I was thinking exactly the same thing carms, strange that none of the pundits picked up on it biggrin.png

  5. Always said that Hodgson would do a good job given time

In all positions we have very good young players now and a lot of pace ...Hart is fighting for his place now with Forster and Butland.

Hopefully Shaw comes back as he left off would like to see Stones fill out and partner Smalling at CB and right back is between Clynne and Walker with even Trippier in with shout.

Midfield looks very strong Ali ...Dier...Barkley...OX...Walcott...and plenty of strong running water carriers like Drinkwater Delph Mason Shelvey Henderson?

    Strikers...Kane...Vardy..Wellbeck..Sterling...Sturridge...Rooney?

With loads of yongsters coming through who given the chance at club level could very well push on as some of the Spurs lads have done....

Good to see and credit should go to Hodgson as a lot of the old timers have finished and he has started to get a very good young squad together now.

  8. I am already bored shitless with this interlull crap.

Best alternative would be the WC Qualifiers from South America but not available where I am.

    B-O-R-I-N-G..

You need to get 365 sport jd, Ecuador v. Paraguay Chile v Argentina Bolivia v Columbia and Peru v Venezuela all live or on repeat.

Thanks Alf, but I'm too computer/internet illiterate for that stuff...at least for now. Traveling through Europe at the moment as well and don't have the inclination to fool with it. But, some day.....

Sorry jd, didn't realize that you were traveling smile.png

  10. Interesting Stat fernandino at 30 in may was the 3 rd youngest player city fielded at the weekend. Dread to think how much the incoming

manager is gonna have to spend to introduce the pacy Intense pressing game he likes.

As City in the years since 2008 have rarely played a pressing game but a possession/passing, we may well indeed have to change a bit to move to a pressing game. I wouldn't worry yourself at all about how much we may have to spend, don't think that's a major concern, we will no doubt continue to spend similar to the ManUs and Chelseas.

I think it's a bit more than a bit ! anyway how many new players do you think he will have to introduce to the team to implement a change of tactics ?

I've not much interest in speculating what Pep might or might not do. If you want my opinion on who City should get rid of I can answer that if you like.

Who asked you to speculate about Pep ? i just asked a straight forward question, well i thought it was straight forward laugh.png

Straight forward question, straight forward answer. I and nobody but Pep have any idea how many new players Pep will have to introduce to the team to implement a change of tactics, if indeed he implements a change of tactics.

    Yes please smile.png

  13. Bring it on,smile.png Pelligrini is doing this on purpose as payback to the shocking way he has been dumped.

Nice try nev but we are letting Pelle run the course of his contract. Now, remind me how United treated Moyes and how they will probably dump LvG

Rubbish, his contract runs out in June 2017 laugh.png

    No it doesnt.

    07 August 2015

Manchester City Football Club is pleased to confirm that the contract of first team manager, Manuel Pellegrini, has been extended.

The agreement, which was reached following discussions this summer, sees the contract run for two years through to June 2017.

  14. If you're going to come on this thread and tell us Pellegrini is delighted to be passing the baton to Pep then kindly provide a video link as evidence.

Let's hear it from the horse's mouth!

Nobody is saying anyone is delighted about anything smokes. All i am stating is fact, Pelle hasnt been sacked he is just seeing out is original contract.

  16. Sheryl,

No, I have Blue Cross Blue Shield, PPO Medical Insurance (HMSA). I'll have the surgery at an outpatient surgery center without overnight stay! My out of pocket cost after insurance reimbursement will be less than 700 dollars! As an expat living in Bangkok, my MO is emergency surgery have it in Bangkok, elective surgery have it Hawaii!

My concern is out of pocket expense, if I have the procedure done in Bangkok, my out of pocket expense will be approximately 3,000 dollars!

If you have insurance why is your "out of pocket" expense so high ? perhaps a breakdown would be nice.
