  1. Is it easy for Thai nationals to apply for NHS jobs? Guessing credentials would be required for something like that?
  2. Absolutely scandalous!! I could not cancel the application (good job now i have read this!!) and was therefore in the process of setting up a new application under a different email address. This is just wrong! The fee is excessive enough, only to hit you again with ridiculous exchange rates.
  3. Another question: can i cancel this application and create a new one? I think this application has locked me into trying to get me to pay £2000 for NHS surcharge on about a 2.8/2.9 year visa. Absolute scandalous!!
  4. I am in the process of paying for my wifes NHS Surcharge for visa applpication. I have filled in the form prior to "PAY NOW" for the surcharge which is stated at £624 per year. The prior form asked where we were applying from and i selected Thailand, However, i am here in the UK doing it. The pay now page is now asking me to pay 83,878.99THB. Converted into £ this is £1965.28. With conversion from my bank i end up paying £1,999.25!!!!!! How do i get back to paying sterling?
  5. Hi All, I am in the process of applying for a UK settlement visa for my wife. I have heard a few different stories of the times it can take to process. I understand that it was extended from up to 3 months to 6 months to to the Ukraine mess. If you have been through this process recently, can you share your experience regarding how long it took? Ive also heard that there is no fast track service with VFS. Is this true? Finally, does anyone know if the price for the visa will increase soon? Just another thing that i have heard.
  6. What were the costs if you dont mind sharing? Its always good to know
  7. Try the Cabin Chiang Mai
  8. I can not believe that the people of Thailand are still being put through this farce. ... One thing i don't miss is all the COVID nonsense.
  9. So that means yes beccause she wont be in Thailand when we are at that stage. Please shed some light on the experiences you have had.
  10. Do you mean once she is actually here in the UK?
  11. Ii have clicked family reunion because i checked my last post with mentioned that i was applying for a family visa for my Thai wife!!! Now i am completely confused in this process. I hate this £$%^
  12. Hi There, My wife is doing the visa to stay with me permanently and off the top of my head i can not even remember what it is called again!! but we are in the process of doing the application. My question: what visa would it be as there are 2 options on the website shared (https://register-uktb.iom.int/uktbdp-register/editRegistration.html?isFromLogin=true) that have got me confused as to the visa i am actually applying for: Family reunion settlement and dependents Th
  13. Hi, How much is the fast track system for a family visa to the UK and how long does it usually take to come through?
  14. Hi, Can my wife go to any hospital in Thailand that conducts these tests? I am guessing most hospitals will do them right? I am assuming that i will have to get the document translated also!!
  15. Hi, I am going through the application form for my family visa for my wife to stay in the UK. The financial requirements for this visa i was told £18,600 per year, with proof of salary 6 months salary slips. However, there is this tick box with the following statement on the application: "Payslips covering any period of salaried employment (current and previous) in the period of 12 months prior to the date of application" Again i thought you had to provided 6 months salary slips!!! Can anyone ellaborate on this?
