An Indian pal of mine told me a couple of years back about the exact same thing, his words were "they look for gormless/unintelligent looking westerners in order to try and scam them".....:cheesy:

How would that scam work? They are in a foreign country. Do they force me to buy a watch in a back alley somewhere.

As another poster has earlier replied.....ask them :whistling:

Possibly because a MG won't make it past 4 years. And their values will be next to nothing  by than. Those that know , know I'm not exaggerating.

Ha! Those that know, know you're talking nonsense.

Last September, I sold an MG ZS EV which was just over 4 years old. Got a fair price for it.

It drove like new and looked like new the day I sold it.

Lots of knowledgeable folk come on here LOL....

BS Nissan wanted 1,200b for a cabin filter. Nissan Juke.

They try everything on, before it goes in the workshop they give you a bill to sign, I have to cross out all the items I haven't asked for.

I had a Nissan Sylphy....same engine and many other parts as the Duke....240 baht fitted for the cabin filter....after warranty expired I fitted it myself around 160 baht incl post from Lazada/Shoppee drop the glovebox 4 screws and its there,30 minutes max.....someone was taking the urine out of you.

The Red King, entire season just out.

Remake of The Wicker Man with a female police sergeant of Indian descent in the lead role.

Not to mention the lady of the manor is black and the retired policeman has a mail order Thai bride.

Surprisingly good with a bit of tongue in cheek wokeness, decent acting, and well written.

    Beautiful scenery and photography.

    Well worth a watch.

    Subtitles wanted please....cannot find any?

    Why?

I rent a couple of one bedroom Thai houses for 3,000 baht a month each. Price went up this year from 2,500 baht per month.

Personally I would not want to live in one but staff are quite happy to stay there.

There are village houses nearby to me going for 1,000 baht per month...but we are not talking about village houses it`s about a Holiday Rental in a Tourist Island......
